Glenn S.: I like the product, I'm a small a/c business, my customers are older an don't have alot of money , when there a/c stops working in the campers and fridges and deep freezers there being charged $2100.00 dollars to put new a/c in there campers buy local dealrs, or have to buy new fridges , deep freezes
your product allows to recharge there units costing them $100.00 to $200.00 depending on time frame so , it would even better if you made bigger sizes of your product more available, so I could install them on the low presser sides, which makes it easier to charge the units and the a/c would work more efficient and cost my customers less time and money and keep them cooler on those hot summer days ,I'm trying to provide a service to less fortunate customers and make an honest living,so I can go to sleep at night feeling good about myself, in this money world we live in today, so thank you very much for your, very well priced and good quality product.

Dr. EdDr. Ed: Very affordable quality fitting to allow you to add Freon to a refrigerator which is low. This clamp on valve attaches to three different size copper tubes using the two inserts provided. The instructions inside explain the process. Very easy, even includes the allen wrench. My side by side Viking freezer/fridge has a top mounted compressor. There are no service valves, so this one is needed to measure the pressures and to add Freon. You mount to the suction, or low side on a straight portion of the copper pipe. That one is slightly larger than high pressure side. Also it will be cooler than the high side which should be warm to hot. Clean up the copper with a bit of emory cloth or steel wool. Wipe clean. Place the valve over the pipe with the port in a position convenient to attach the Freon can hose. Tighten down the three clamping screws. The center screw gets advanced a few turns to pierce the copper. The piercing needle also functions as the valve. After attaching the Freon hose, you back the screw out a turn to two max. You can then add Freon in bursts watching the gauge between bursts. In second picture you see a can of R134a ($4.88 from W*****t).

Kirk Masters: Easy to install. Love the gasket inside the unit to help seal off the opening. Used steel wool to clean and polish copper which is the best way to clean tubing IMHO--wipe clean with a cloth. Still monitoring my refrigerator operation. It now stops and starts and keeps things real cold. IMHO no need to buy any other valve. Pressure of suction is around 2 psi so little chance for leaking over the year. I also put some pipe thread compound on the threads to help seal them and left the sherator valve inplace for future checking and kept the cap to put on later.
