Protect Your Outdoor Air Conditioner Unit with BOLTLINK Covers

R. Fischer: Seemingly durably made and quality material. I ordered a size (32x32) that closely matches my American Standard AC (33x30), and amazingly just fits (though not exact). I got the sizing idea from another reviewer who also has an American Standard AC and wanted a more close fit. I'm also not a fan of the sloppy and oversized baggy look of many AC cover installations.

Also the slightly shorter version by a few inches to allow for ventilation at the bottom, as recommended by AC experts. Extending to the ground is a mistake as it invites moisture, mold, rust and rodents. The mesh screens on the cover are too small and will provide very little benefit.

Only confusing minus is too many price variations between the sizes.

L. McDonald: One feature that is really handy and that I will always look for in the future is the velcro security tab that I used to anchor the cover by putting it under the hose assembly. This comes in very handy when we have wind storms (40-60 mph) - I don't have to run all over looking to see where my cover has been blown to.

Even though I measured carefully before I ordered, the cover was a couple inches bigger all around than I needed and has blown off a couple times. So I've gathered a few bungee cords from my garage and installed them around the circumference of the unit about 2/3 of the way down to keep the cover in place. Not a big deal, and I guess I'd rather the cover was a little too big than too small.

I can't speak to durability since it's only been in place a few weeks, but the material seems like it will hold up for at least a couple winters - better than the tarp I've been using for the last few years.

It appears to be well made and since it is brand new, it is too early to report on its durability. I would expect that it will be though based on the quality of this cover.

Mark In Abbotsford B.C.: Good product but measuring Is very Important, mine was a bit to long as i had material on the ground.
No problem just put a small bucket or ball on top before you put your cover on and remember to turn off your power supply to your unit because if it comes on by accident you'll burn it out.
