KshamaKshama: This is exactly what I was looking for! Yes, it is small, but quite mighty! It can fit my 24 oz long water bottle in the side pockets easily, plus you can secure it with the side straps. I haven't tried, but it could also fit a 32 oz water bottle in the two side pockets. It has ample space to put things inside that you might need for an overnight trip, day trips, hiking or biking adventures.

I primarily bought this for traveling. It has a main compartment for bigger items, and a smaller front compartment for smaller items. I have an Osprey backpack, but it is not very functional for my use. It's too big and long and curves in the back to allow ventilation. This one does not curve, and is half the size of my Osprey, which I love! It is super lightweight and seems to be sturdy and well-made. I would definitely recommend this for someone small that can carry something small on different occasions. For reference I am a 5.0" tall female and this backpack looks just right on me.

Amber: This has been great for travel and hiking. I took it with me to foreign markets where they don’t give out bags, and I was able to stuff a lot of purchases in there. It worked great for day-long hiking, too. I’m only 5’2”, and wear an xs. This backpack fit me perfectly, but was too small for my husband. He can carry it, barely due to strap length. Most backpacks swallow me or ride too low. This one is really a good fit. My only complaint is that it is not water resistant.

plasticfruitplasticfruit: PROs:
-- Lightweight and compact
-- Comfortable to carry for long periods
-- Incredibly roomy for a small backpack
-- Durable outer fabric
-- Two water bottle pockets & multiple inner compartments
-- Nice variety of color & pattern choices

CONs:
-- Inner zip pocket feels flimsy
-- Inner slip pockets are too narrow & shallow
-- Chest strap is barely long enough and waist strap is unusable for most adults
-- Price seems a little high for what it is

I was looking for a small backpack to use for day hikes, with two water bottle pockets and more than one inner compartment. I wanted enough room for supplies, but without being huge and bulky (or too heavy). This little backpack met all of these requirements.

It is deceptively roomy! As pictured, I am able to put 2 hats, a headband, sunglasses, hand sanitizer, large rain poncho, and several Ziploc pouches full of supplies inside -- with lots of room to spare for extra water bottles, a light jacket, etc. The outer mesh pockets fit a standard size 500 mL water bottle well (and securely). The picture with 2 water bottles in the pockets is of the backpack fully...

C TitusC Titus: I’m just saying... I mean that girl had way more than was realistic. But this pack... this pack kicks... well kicks pack! I upgraded to this little pack recently to carry a bit more to go a further, faster in my trail runs with a bit more weight. This pack fits great. I run and mountain bike and this pack stays in place awesomely. It stays snug and won’t flop all over the place over shrug up and down all day long. As you can see from the stuff set out, it holds a fair piece. All those items were in the pack at the time I took the pics (In pic: Shorts, exercise and casual; T-shirt, exercise and casual; Long and short socks; undies and undershirt; pull-over hoodie sweatshirt; Beanie, spork, two meals that are really tasty btw, rescue inhaler, my little mini first aid kit, water bottle, and binoculars).
All except the two protein bars. One I ate that morning and the other one today. Wait, why am I telling you when I ate them, it’s not really your business, or that you would care. Anyway, still had room for another change of clothes, additional water bottle and I still haven’t used the little zippered pocket inside the main pouch. Is it a pack to live out...
