K. Binning: I bought a window feeder for my cat as a “kitty tv”. This seed is perfect. The chickadees and nuthatches zip in and out most of the day. There has been a couple dropped seeds, but it’s barely anything. My cat is enthralled, the birds ignore her, lol. The downstairs neighbor’s cat is also enthralled. Wonderful seed, I love the lack of a mess.

Cathy L. Merrill: I don't know who liked these more the birds or the squirrels. I'd have to say it was the birds I added them with some other bird food rather than alone, but they still ate them up quickly. I highly recommend them for the birds as an added treat.

RevKitteh: I purchased these to avoid the massive mess that was happening below my bird feeder from sunflower seed shells. The birds love these hearts & bits but it’s much more costly to fill my feeder. It’s a trade off. The birds are happy & so am I for not having to clean up the shell mess.
I close off my feeder nightly to prevent vermin from gorging on the free expensive meal
