Genuine have walnuts are getting more and more difficult to find. I don't want Habs and pieces I want only haves for snacking, and for baking. The value of these nuts is awesome and I appreciate that they are domestic. They were fresh, and the taste was way more than I've had with other brands that I was able to find. I'm going to be a loyal customer as long as these remain halves. Great taste-great value!!!!!

I've bought these a few times now, am 100% satisfied and will continue buying. I use walnuts in one way or another almost every day, and my regular go-to is the one pound bags of walnut halves at Trader Joe's. These are a definite close second, and extra convenient to have on hand when I can't make it to Trader Joe's, or sometimes when my TJ's has been out of stock. I've also tried the Kirkland brand 3 lb bag available here on Amazon, and while those were also pretty good tasting and fresh, they were mostly smaller pieces, fewer halves and larger pieces, and also not in a resealable bag like these are. At this price, they are not much more expensive than the TJ's bags of 1 lb at $5.99, and definitely a much better buy than regular grocery store brands, which can be twice the price for walnuts that contain way too many stale/bitter nuts or the random hard shell pieces, which I haven't found in these. These will be on my repeat order list!
