Coach Julie: Wonderful fresh tasty walnuts. With my 2nd order, the company accidentally sent my elderly mom the walnuts in the shell instead of the pieces and she was hurting her knuckles trying to get them out but she didn't want to bother sending them back as it's hard for her to get out. I received an email asking how we liked the nuts and I let them know what happened. They were so polite and awesome - actually it was Rachel - she was so sweet and accomodating. She immediately sent my mom 2 bags of the halves and pieces and mom was so surprised! and relieved because her knuckles hurt! Thank you Rachel!

Ponywoman: Wonderful nuts! And this from someone who hates walnuts, too. Maybe I've run into too many black walnuts-- living as I do in the Midwest and having had access to the black (not English) walnuts. But as it seemed I was reading almost every day a health article about the benefits of eating walnuts, I thought I'd try once again to "choke" the English walnuts down. I researched different Companies & nut offers on Amazon for what seemed like an hour and finally picked this Company's nuts. They said something about a LIGHT walnut & I'd hoped this might make them very different from the black type of walnut. I was so thrilled that the nuts I received taste just like pecans-- which I love! (Everyone says I have a very refined taste so when I say they taste like pecans, they do). The nuts are also huge-- worth the price. Not like the grocery store nuts at all. They are soft but crisp, fresh & creamy of texture.
