Stulanger: I bought this belt to use as a bushcraft utility belt for my outdoor activities. I hate hanging heavy tools like a kukri or belt axe off of the belt that holds up my trousers, even with suspenders, especially in the wintertime when I have a coat on that falls below my waistline. Handguns, large chopping knives, hatchets, tomahawks utility pouches and such are best worn on a separate belt, IMHO, that allows me to wear it outside my clothes to have easy access to my tools while wearing warming layers in colder weather or over a long sleeve button down shirt in warmer weather.
I usually pack my heavy tools either inside, or attached-to, my backpack but there are times when I would like to have immediate access to them while I am on the move, or I am just out for a day hike with minimal kit and no backpack. This belt seemed like a good option. I could have gone to Lowes or Home Depot and just bought a traditional plain leather tool belt like the ones I used to wear when I worked on a framing crew, but I wanted something a little more rustic and "woodsy" looking, for lack of a better term, without looking too militaristic. Amazon Customer: The two inch work belt has been great so far. I can't speak to it's durability as I have only been using it a few weeks but I like that it is a full 2 inches wide . The bbelt buckle seems well constructed and easy to use. My only caveat is that it fits VERY small. I wear size 36 Kirkland jeans and size 38 Levi's and this belt just fits me in the first hole.

Adrian427: I see a lot of reviews commenting on how thick this belt is, it's the same thickness as any old belt(~4mm). This is not a heavy duty work belt. It's just a double prong leather belt. Colour and quality seem good. We'll see how it holds up.

Ahmed Eltawil: Definitely happy with this work belt. My toolbelt came with a flimsy belt that was too long, too thin, and not sturdy enough to use with my multipocket framing tool belt. This belt is thicker, wider, and much stronger and doesn't keep sliding from one side to the other. Haven't seen any signs of wear in the belt holes I keep using on a daily basis even though my toolbelt is fully loaded and weighs a lot. Overall, couldn't be happier with this purchase. Great product and totally recommend it!

Mark & Nancy AlbinMark & Nancy Albin: I just received this today. It seems like a durable belt but I have my doubts as to whether this is real leather. There is no "Genuine Leather" stamp engraved on it nor does it have that leather smell. It is one 1/8" thick solid piece of whatever it is (opposed to 2 pcs of material glued together). It is 2" wide-which is one of the reasons I chose this belt. I do like the look of the double pronged buckle and the two rows of holes. An issue of concern is that when I bend it backwards, it permanently creases and I'm not sure if real leather does that. I hope it's not a plastic finish that will tear although I did scrape my fingernail over it and nothing happened. We'll see. If anything does, i will be sure to update this review.
June 8, 2022 UPDATE: I still can't figure out if it's genuine leather but it's a main staple to my wardrobe. I do like the look of it with my jeans. So far it's been very durable and hasn't fallen apart!

I have tried probably 20 other belts including the ones with elastic sewn in trying to keep my pants up in the various bends of my work through the day.
Most days I show more butt than a plumber and slightly less than a pole dancer.
After receiving a nasty derriere sunburn I began to look for a belt made to actually be a belt and not a fashion accessory.
The fact I often carry tools and essentials for the job in my cargo pockets, just complicates the problem more. After looking through dozens of sites, this is the beefiest one I could find.
This is a very manly belt, for work no murse packers or yuppies need to apply.
This is heavy thick oiled course cut cowhide, solid brass hardware with welded loop (not bent wire), and quad riveted together. This thing will last a long time, and has gotten to be very comfortable with break in to be so thick, yet it holds my pants up with all my work essentials (wrenches pliers ratchets etc) crammed in the thigh pockets.
The only drawback is most pants dont have 2" belt loops,and with the thickness of the strap it just wont fit.
