EM: These laundry bags were exactly what I was looking for. My husband and I had difficulty carrying down the laundry baskets each week. We set up two laundry bags, one for whites and one for darks. During the week we add to the bags. Thus, on Saturday there is no sorting. And I can tie off the bags and toss them down the stairs. We no longer have to carry the laundry baskets. We have the bags for a few months, but they have held up perfectly. I highly recommend the bags.

WendyF: We use these laundry bags to transport cats especially feral cats. The bag is placed on top of the cat, and then we roll the cat into the bottom of the bag, and close with the drawstring (no heads sticking out). Exams and injections can be given through the bag. The cats are more relaxed in the bag, probably because they "think" they can't be seen. The bags launder easily for those cats which like to soil themselves on the way to the vet's office. At home they fold up easily so they don't take up the space a regular cat carrier would, and they can be used for laundry or transporting things other than cats. We suggest that the bagged cat be placed in a laundry basket with a bath towel on the bottom in case the cat urinates during the car ride. This is especially important for dangerous feral cats which are fine at home but all teeth and nails the moment they are transported.

MAC AZ: The mesh these bags are made of is sturdier than I expected. I have one at my mother's senior residence for bedding and towels laundry they will do for her to keep it separate from more personal laundry I do. The other I used to replace a bag on a wire frame that is laundry hamper. I made it work for the frame, but not an easy fit as the bag wasn't made for the frame. I think I'll like though as the old thin mesh bag I had caught and tore on things and this mesh is much sturdier. Also, there is a plastic tag you can write on with a sharpie type marker or I used a labeler to put my mother's name and apartment number on the tag.

Mel: Nice big size and comes in 2 pieces. Used it to store beach toys and the other used as laundry bag. The string to close the bag is quite long so I just tuck it in when used as a laundry bag

AnneAesthetic: Disclaimer; I don't know what this is like for its intended purpose, because I actually purchased it for something entirely different.
I wanted this for long-term storage of my uncompressed sleeping bag, to preserve the loft between trips, & it delivered above + beyond my hopes. It's strong, sturdy, & large enough to give my bag plenty of room to "breathe" - as a matter of fact, I could even fit a second one in there, if I wanted to, without any danger of crushing the first.
I was originally planning on getting a *canvas* sack (with large cotton laundry bags being so cheap, there's really no reason to pay the exorbitant price that gear companies extort for their "dedicated" down-stowage bags, which are more or less literally the same thing but just branded with their logo), but ultimately opted for this one instead because I have ADHD & subsequently my memory is like a sieve - so being able to see the contents at a glance significantly reduces the chance that in a few months, after the Winter non-camping season is over, I'll be running around in a blind panic because I "can't find" my sleeping bag at 1am the night before I'm due to leave on an...
