My son loves his shoes. They have great ankle support. It is a little hard to put them on at first but they just need to be worn a couple times or left in a hot car. I like the they are snug around the ankles it helps support so his foot wont buckle.

finding quality shoes that a small child can walk in is a challenge. these find the sweet spot between being supportive and protective but not too clunky. and my son wears orthotic braces and we can even fit these over them!

These are study well made sneakers. I ordered a 5.5 wide for my son who wears a 5 in other brands and they fit perfectly with not much room to grow. I could have gotten away with a 6. I haven't had any problems with the threads coming out at the top seam as others have reported. They're a little hard to get on before they're broken in, I think it's the fact that it's a high top shoe. But I ordered wide to compensate for that. Would buy again!
