Thomas & Rhonda Acton: I bought these for my 15 month old grandson, he has only been walking a couple of months, but these are so helpful in keeping up with him, he went straight from crawling to running, and, having squeakers on him is the best thing ever, they are actually loud enough to hear them when you are outside and with a lot of activity going on around you, we were recently at a petting zoo with a bunch of goats and a lot of people and other kids, and I could hear him squeaking no matter where he was in the yard!

Kaylee Wahlstrom: These shoes are great! I got them when she was 16 months. She couldn’t walk on her own yet. She would walk along the furniture and only on her tiptoes. We could tell she was ready to walk just unsure about her balance. These shoes helped her learn to put her left foot all the way flat, which she was struggling with. She’s 17 months now and walking unassisted. She’s still on her toes, but the shoes encourage her to stretch out her ankle muscles because she tries to make them squeak. Bonus, she really loves how cute they are. She was super excited when she received them.

Jen: I have purchased 4 pairs of these ikiki Squeaky shoes over the past few years (dragon, llama, yeti, and black penguin). They are adorable and very durable. My kids are rough with their shoes and they all lasted until outgrown. My son is smaller for his age so he got the most mileage out of his. We've received a lot of compliments and the squeaky option has been a huge help in keeping track of the kiddos when they decide to take off. These shoes may be a little more expensive but they are 100% worth the price. In fact, I'm just about to buy another set, the plain slate gray ones this time since my boy is a little older now. :)
