I received this product on the 25th. Tried it for the first time on the 27th. I followed the directions and gave my dog the dose recommended for her weight. She is terrified of fireworks and Thunder. This product did absolutely nothing for her. Complete waste of my money. I'm not sure I would believe any of these positive reviews. When I attempted to return them I was told it was a non returnable. I am a prime member, in case anyone buys this.

techincanada: We were hopeful that these would offset our young dog’s anxiety about car rides. We have used natural remedies with our previous dogs & StrellaLab has a good reputation. These chews were not chewy as expected and were larger chunks…neither of our puppies wanted to eat them. We tried twice with our anxiety dog and both times he was sick (ie vomiting) before even getting into the car. StrellaLab reached out to us to try to resolve the issue. We are thankful for that-these didn’t work for us but we would give other products from this company a chance if needed.

Question: After about 30 minutes after giving my dog the chews, my dog started incessantly doing repetitive motions looking back right to left and up and down and into the sky around and became very paranoid. He only wanted to hide in the corner for 2 days. I was very worried for my 2 year old Australian Shepherd, because he is usually a cheerful and happy dog who loves to play. He’s 67 pounds and I gave him 2 chews (half the recommended dose for his weight) since this was his first time having a calming chew. He was not on any medications when he was first dosed. The behavior lasted 4 days until his personality/behavior started to return to normal. Strella Lab reached out to me and gave me a full refund. This may work with your dog, however my advice is to use with caution.

Bonnie C.: I’ve been trying out Strella Lab’s CALMING HEMP CHEWS for a variety of situations, like stress and anxiety, that can affect my Yorkie and my four Chihuahua senior girl dogs, all who weigh between 5- to 8.5-pounds.
One of my Chi’s, named Lilly, gets quite restless with a lot of unhappy vocalizing while traveling to the vet in her secured, open car seat. In addition, Lilly gets nervously anxious while seated on my lap in the vet’s lobby while waiting for her turn to get her yearly physical exam. She literally pants and “talk-howls” with repetitive, loud “Wah-Wah-Wah” wails. In addition, she varies between trembling, pulling away, and then getting stiff as a board while having her nails periodically trimmed by the vet’s technicians.
Last week, Lilly was scheduled for her yearly wellness exam, along with nail trims, so I gave her one of the CALMING HEMP CHEWS about a half-hour before we left for her vet visit. Much to my surprise, Lilly was much calmer and relaxed in her car seat while I transported her to the vet’s office. There was barely a sound of complaint.
