RPF: Needed this for our new refrig. it fits 4 tray-fulls of cubes and stows right next to the tray stack. Now all I do is reach in for cubes without fighting a tray every time I need a whiskey or mixer. cheers.

J.C. Keller: This container is a bit larger than the typical ones that come with refrigerators. That extra space means more ice!! And that means you make ice less times. ( my fridge doesn't have an ice maker, we use a countertop one) This summer was super hot but once we started using this container, we hardly ever ran out of ice because it holds a lot! It is dishwasher safe, and even though I dropped it, ( thankfully while empty) it didn't crack or chip. It's the small things, folks. I like this ice container.

Male in Australia: What a great size for my freezer and it holds a decent amount of ice cubes. My two ice cube makers can now sit stacked on top of each other nicely giving me more room inside I only need large scoop which I sit inside the container to fill a large glass with ice. I wasn't sure if it was big enough but its just the ideal size and a round container I was using was making it awkward to store other items neatly in the freezer. Bit dirty when I got it, must be stored in the coal mines or something and I thought it could be a bit cleaner and cheaper.
