James E VanDyke: This ice bucket is well designed and very functional. The only complaint I have is that one of the screws that holds the handle onto the bucket fell off making the handle useless. I wish the manufacturer could supply a replacement screw. I see that a newer version of this bucket has sturdier screws which probably solved this issue.

LAS: I love this ice bucket! It is beautiful, classy and functional. The tongs being able to store in the lid is fantastic. I will never loose it! The plate that sits in the bottom of the bucket is a must. It keeps the ice dry while the defrosted water drips and resides below the plate. With the double wall side the ice stays frozen for a long time. At the end of the evening I still have ice in the bucket and not a lot of water below the plate. Cleaning is easy; remove remaining ice, pour out the water and wipe with a dry cloth, both inside and outside (to remove my finger prints). I get compliments all the time on this ice bucket and am asked where I got it.

T.M.R.: First thing I did was toss the tongs and replace with the ones that came with my barfly set. Other than that, it rocks. Ive left it out all night on accident and my craft ice was still there just fine and cold the next day.
Fits good in my freezer too...

HappyHappy: The media could not be loaded. I was looking for a way to store/serve ice cubes safely for parties. Traditionally, I have just placed them in a galvanized container with a spoon but people still reach into them. Due to COVID and trying to keep things as sanitary as possible, I wanted to store ice in a container that people were not reaching into.
My first impressions were good. The ice bucket was classy looking and great for entertaining. Something that looked nice enough to have sitting out on your counter top but was also efficient and practical. The bucket has tongs that tuck discretely into a compartment on the top of the bucket lid which is very convenient. The bucket also has a handle so it is easily portable.
I put in 18 whiskey ice cubes to test it out and still had room for probably another 20-25 cubes. The ice cubes started to melt after 4 hours. I left them in the bucket over night and 3 ice cubes were melted but still in the container which means they made it from 8pm to 8am the next day which is 12 hours, that is excellent and would surpass any needs I had of an ice bucket. I highly recommend this ice bucket!
