Danny Gourley FischerDanny Gourley Fischer: We have a refrigerator with a faulty ice maker, so we have been buying bags of ice. We wanted a bucket with a lid to store ice in the fridge, and an hour or so of searching landed us on this product. We find the bucket and lid to be sturdy. The tongs work just fine. This really keeps ice cold for a good while if left sitting on a counter. We're happy with our purchase. One thing I will note--and subtract a star for--is that ours arrived fairly dirty. Whether it was because it was returned previously and improperly cleaned or because it came off the line with these spots, I cannot say. Either way, it represents what we consider a failure of quality control that customer ever received such a dirty "new" product. Luckily, some elbow grease got it cleaned up, but see the images I have included to view how ours came out of the box. The first shot is unaltered, and I have highlighted spots in the second shot.
