Catarina 79: This is the second climber I purchased ( The first being the step 2 Alpine Ridge climber and slide. Of course the Alpine Ridge climber is a lot bigger so the comparison between the two is unfair. However this is a very practical and smaller sized climber which is perfect for a small child around the age of 12-18 months and perfect for keeping inside a smaller house with somewhat elevated ceilings. I purchased this climber for my nephew who is turning one , and I haven't given it to him yet ( so I can't comment on whether he likes it or not ). My children, as seen in the photo just turned three and they are having a really fun time on it . They can't stand up all the way but it is no dealbreaker because they love just crawling on it and looking out the lookout Pipe! Plus it is really easy to just take off the roof if you want to prolong the use of this Climber to adapt it with your child as he grows... The slide is a little short but doesn't stop my children from having fun . Baby if children were used to larger slides they may not enjoy the slide as much but it is not a problem for us . This is a great climber to start off with and it was easy enough for a mom, as I, to put it...

Spiritsuit7Spiritsuit7: Believe it or not I ordered this accidently but kept it. It became my daughter's birthday present. In the summer I put it in our garden and the kids love it. I was afraid that it would be too small but it's a good size even for a 5 year old. The first day I put it up my kids and the neighbor kids were all playing on it from ages 2 to 8 and it didn't ever feel too young. I was nervous at first about 5 kids on it at the same time but it was stable and safe and they had a really good time. It's very easy to set up and take down and it's light but strong. My kids have pretended it's a tree house to a pirate ship to a time machine. It's small enough to be used in a large room during colder weather. I am very glad I accidently ordered this because it's helped make our small backyard into a garden that the kids love playing in.

Raquel Wey: Gave this to my daughter for Christmas and she enjoys it. The lookout part is a bit too short for her to stand up in, but she usually just crawls right through to the slide anyway. It assembled fairly quickly, but if I remember correctly a few of the pieced needed a bit of extra force to get in place (but that's not unusual with anything plastic that needs assembly). So far this has been in the house until the warmer weather comes, it looks like it should hold up well if it stays outdoors until next winter.

Bradly Cooper: It is well built.
My daughter loves it.
I do like that it has side rails so she is protected inside that small house.
Nice toy, lots of fun.

A.J.: We bought this toy for our sixteen month old. Right out of the box, it has been a great toy. All you need is a phillips screwdrive to put it together, and that's only for the periscope assembly and to attach the roof so your todler can't push it off. The rest of the assembly does not require any tools, takes about five minutes, and produces a nice, solid structure for your toddler's play.
Our toddler loves playing on it, too. I thought he'd just go use the ladder and the slide, but he also likes to play with the periscope -- even using it as it was intended. We can't seem to get him to use the slide in any manner other than head first. However, the slide is just long and steep enough to be fun for him but not so much that he is at any risk for injury. Right now, we have it in his play area inside but will probably move it outside in the spring when the weather is nicer.
In summary: this slide seems safe and durable, and our toddler loves it.

Tanzy: I purchased this for my 14 month old son. He is a climber and I wanted to get him something safe to play on inside the house. The first day I set it up he learned how to slide on his own and he always claps his hands in excitement when he reaches the floor. This was so simple to put together. I had the majority of it assembled within five minutes. The periscope does take a little time to put together but it is really easy to do. I am very impressed with the quality and how everything locks into place. You could easily take the slide off, back the unit against a wall and use it as a fort. One of my concerns was the roof being too low but for now my son fits under it just fine. I don't think it would be hard to find a way to raise the roof when he gets too tall for it in the future as I believe he will be using this toy for years to come. I know some reviewers said they don't like the steep steps. My son has no trouble at all climbing them, plus it is a great space-saving design! You don't have steps protruding out as far as the slide like some similar toys. The slide itself is also nice and tall, so when he slides it isn't like his feet immediately hit the ground. The other thing I...
