Reviewgirl227: I bought this for my 7 year old and 3 year old. My 7 year old is on the taller side, but right now she fits. She will probably only get one year out of this, but I still think it’s worth it.

I am almost 5 months pregnant and put this together myself. I normally never put things together, and it took me roughly 1.5 hours. For everyone saying it’s impossible with just a drill, scan the QR code on the instructions. If you hammer the nail in a bit, it is much easier to use the screw driver. With that said, I used a hammer and drill to make time go by faster, but I did test the hammer/screwdriver combo and it works.

Seems sturdy enough, but I have only had it up for 1 day. The kids were so happy to play with it. The seller states this doesn’t come with play food, so I got my own from Amazon.

Both kids love cooking and I bet they’ll play for hours!

Catherine Mikel: Overall I'm happy with the purchase. It's sturdy and I feel like it will last my child for years.

Here a few things I wish I had known before buying it. The water tower is not attached to the actual structure so it's incredibly easy to knock over. The top of of the water tower where the blue bucket is suppose to go, did not snap in to lock the blue bucket in place like it should have.

The grill is super fun but flimsy in that if the child opens it from the opposite side, he could very easily break it off.

One of the holes on the bottom of the structure where the pole feeds through wasn't punctured all the way (looks like a manufacturing defect) and my husband had to use a box cutter to cut it out which was super annoying and took forever.

I love that it came with tools and pots and pans. My 13 month old loves it. Like I said, overall happy with our purchase.

Allan Banning: Simply put...this is amazing. The only thing that I would like to see is an extension for the roof so it can be raised up, my Grandson is a little taller than most kids his age.

Brittany H.: This thing is amazing! We just moved into a new house and wanted something for my daughter. She is 2-1/2 and VERY tall for her age (almost 3 feet). One reason we chose this is because of the height clearance. Other things we love: complete visibility- we can clearly see what she is doing (or shoving in her mouth) and if there are any spiders we need to get rid of before she plays in it. Ventilation- in the summer it gets hot and being enclosed in a 4 sided house with tiny windows can get pretty sweaty, with this one you don’t have that problem and she is still being shaded from the sun. Number of Activities: there is a sand box(we put in fish gravel instead so it can be swept up and doesn’t get muddy with the water. Highly recommend), a water play compartment, a sink, a grill, and a table area. My daughter loves making us fish rock food and then taking it back to put it in the oven(grill) for further cooking.
One thing I noticed while putting this together is how easy the pole system was. Everything snaps into place and once together there is no shaking or rickidyness to it AT ALL.

Canada 01: We bought this for our daughter on Christmas. She had seen a display in the Toys-R-Us store and played with it there for a while. We could see that she absolutely loved it and decided to buy it for her. It's a little on the expensive side but totally worth it. Our daughter loves her play kitchen/barbecue. This is one of the best Step 2 products, actually.

Wir haben das Häuschen jetzt ca ein halbes Jahr und es sieht noch immer aus wie neu- obwohl es nahezu täglich bespielt wird! Mit tollem Zubehör regt es zu immer neuen Rollenspielen an! Ob Grill, Waschbecken, Tisch oder Sand- und Wasserspielbereich- ideal für die Kleinen! Und das tolle: durch das Dach braucht man sich im Sommer auch keine Sorgen wegen Sonnenbrand und Co machen!

Meine Tochter ist auf den bildern ca 1m groß und 3 Jahre alt- für sie hat es die optimale Größe. Ihr 9-jährige Bruder ist zu groß- ich würde sagen, das Spielhaus ist ideal für Kinder von 2-6 Jahren.
