snow mo bird: Never used a portable shower before & this one worked perfect! Tells the temperature of the water & with the 5 gallon bag was plenty of water for 2 showers! Sure made my 32 days of tenting bearable!

kd.: We purchased our Summer Shower for a horseback riding camp trip. We fill it and came back to a nice warm shower nightly. I bought the largest one and there was enough water for my husband and me. The shower head gave bice pressure and was easy to slide on and off. We hung it on our hay ladder of our horse trailer. Great product for outdoor showering. 👍🙂 would recommend. Wish it came with travel bag or option for travel protection.

C. Skrobak: Bought this for a 10 day camp trip for National Jamboree. This works REALLY well! So well, that a midafternoon shower burned me; not badly, but MUCH hotter than at home. I would fill this up the night before or the morning of and leave it in full sunlight all day *CLEAR SIDE UP* (very important, there were lots of people putting the black side up, and their water didn't get as warm), and by 5-8 pm, it was still hot, and even required some cold water being added to make it useable. I had wide-open field for 12+ hours, so I'm not sure what the results would be in a less sunny spot, but I'm guessing some warm is better than none. There were a few nights I used it around 10pm, and while the water wasn't 'home shower' warm, it was MUCH warmer than the ice cold water coming from the shower house, so it made things tolerable. I was impressed with its ability to hold heat, 3-4 hours after the sun had gone down.

Tanime C: I wish there was an easier way to empty and dry this but other than that it works great.

JayJay: I bought this one due to the hanging handle looking sturdy enough to hang the weight without ripping.
I haven't used it yet but I filled it with cold beginning of the season lake water and left it out for 2 days in the sun.
It was just barely warm enough to have a shower with it. The on and off switch for the shower nozzle is pretty good from the testing I did.

I Own My Life: FIRST IMPRESSION... upon un-boxing this product --->
I just received this in the mail today and will review again - after I use it.
I am disappointed that this product is packaged so poorly for shipping. The hose came with a big fat crimp in it - all the way across - right under the connection to the bag.
The reason I chose Advanced Elements was because of the brand recognition. I trusted that they would take better pride in how the product arrives - especially after reading some of the reviews of other people with different brand shower bags and their experiences - that are exactly like this one... a crimped shower hose.
Surely Advanced Elements - you can do better than that with packing to protect the hose. When people buy stuff on Amazon, it is sight unseen, so a lot of trust goes into a purchasing decision.
Bottom line of my First Impression -> I could have got a different shower bag and still have a crimped hose, for less money.
SECOND IMPRESSION --->
I filled the shower bag with a tablespoon of Baking Soda and a Quart of warm water to rinse out the bag. It really did not stink, but I followed the...

Peter: This bag is around 3x the black bags you see listed. Is it worth it?
Depends how many times you plan on using it, if its more than 10, I would say go for it.
The back bag does heat up water but doesn’t have insulation at the bottom to prevent the water from cooling down to the ground.
The black bag has a really crappy opening which occasionally pops open, this alone is worth the 3x cost
The black bag has a different design where the black surface is on top, rather than the bottom; no comment on which is more efficient but if there’s bubbles in the bag, which is hard to get rid of, the air is an insulation layer to the hot plastic and the water makes little contact; although i have done no scientific tests.
This bag makes it easy to remove air bubbles becuase of its design and the fact the transparent side is on top so you can find the bubbles better.
This bag has a thicker tube that doesn’t fold and get creased and then clogs water when use
This bag has a 10x better way of dispensing the water through a user friendly nozzle that doesnt leak and can turn off and on easily
To be fair, the fact that it has a proper opening is worth the 3x...

Mr. T. Kilpatrick: I bought this after using a similar shower camping in Australia.
The UK climate isnt ideal for the concept though. In Northern Ireland, even in the warmest summer days (i tested on a clear summer day, max 28degC), the bag heats up a little, but not far enough beyond lukewarm to provide a shower that feels comfortably warm.
The bag is very very tough and is v well made. The handle is grippy and tough, and handles 9L of water just fine. It doesnt feel like it will rip or tear any time soon. The seams are also well finished.
The hose was far too long for me personally. Im 6ft. 3in tall, so didnt like having the hose quite so long. The rose (tap) end is push in/out to turn on and off. The mouth is v large to make it easy to fill from a campsite tap etc.
The rear is clear (the idea being you set this side facing the sun), and the temperature guage gives you an indication (in fahrenheit) that something is working, but i couldnt get the temperature up very far. In the end i also placed onto the top of my car, hoping that the metalwork would radiate and transfer heat, but this only worked partially well, and im not sure if this would damage the bag long term. If there is a...

Outdoor Nut: I received it a day earlier then expected. I got this to take camping and to wash off after I go for rides on my ATV or mountain bike. Not sure why but I seem to get cover by more mud on my mountain bike, hmmm. Now I can keep the inside of my truck clean too after a ride on those muddy days. I have 4 expandable poles and a tarp I plan to use as a makeshift shower for now. I may buy one of those tent showers down the road if I have to. I read the instructions and it said to rinse it with baking soda once before initial use so I did that. It is a cloudy day with little showers on and off so I could not test the solar part. I put in a tablespoon of banking soda and filled it up about 3/4 of the way with hot tap water. I then shook it a little bit to make sure all the baking soda had dissolved. The water temperature was 116 degrees F. That seemed a little warm to shower with and got me thinking about testing with the solar part soon. Anyway, I then proceeded to hang the shower bag and open the spray valve. I left it open until it was empty which took about three minutes. Sorry, I should have timed it. This is not something to take Hollywood showers with. Turn it on to get wet and the...
