Stay Hydrated On-the-Go with the TETON Sports Oasis 1100 Hydration Pack

Ted Raschick: This is a very well-designed day pack with a number of simple to use and very functional storage pockets. There is a great choice of colors and sizes to pick from, the 18L was perfect for my needs. The back pads work well for comfort as well as air flow for cooling. this due to a flexible piece of plastic that keeps the pack well formed as well as keeping a vent area for your back. I went for a 5 mile walk this noon and it did everything I wanted it to. The stitching is good except for at the very top were the pack joins with the shoulder straps, the material is a little unevenly bunched. This does Not effect the performance of the pack, it is more about appearance. If it wasn't for that I would have rated this pack 5 out of 5. I do recommend this pack.

LauraLaura: I received this a few days ago but haven't had a chance to try it out yet on the trail which is why I'm rating it 4-stars at this time.

I love the overall capacity of it, as well as all the pockets. I think it will be a perfect bag for day hikes without being too big. I tested the hydration bladder for leaks and there were none. Yes it gives water that "plastic-y" taste initially, but I did clean it with a bit of dish soap, rinsed well, and let it air dry for 2-3 days and that took care of the weird taste. Also there are two outer side pockets that each fit a standard 16-ounce water bottle but they seem like they will fit larger bottles too.

The shoulder straps are a perfect fit for me. I was concerned they might be too wide and uncomfortable, or hit in the wrong places based on what a few other reviewers with similar physical dimensions stated. Also the sternum strap and waist strap are adjustable and fit comfortably (for reference I am 5'3, 135, 36C).

The medium size pocket in the lower middle section of the bag with the logo on it has three small buckle straps - one at the top of it as well as one on either side (see pics) so it can be unhinged. I wasn't...

Sean R Haughian: My only complaint is that the main compartment's zipper is hard to open & close because the flap over it is so stiff. Otherwise, it's holding up well and seems to be a great pack for fit and quality.

Fantastic product.
This replaced my Camelback Cloud Walker that I have had for many years. It is almost exactly the same design. My old pack was blue and I was worried that the description of the new pack being bright blue would be too obnoxious. I am often in deep woods and want to be more camouflage. My old blue pack was a shade soft enough that I did not stand out. It took me a really long time to decide on my color. I took the chance and I'm very pleased. It is a nice bright blue but not neon and not tacky looking.
I actually originally went to the Teton site to order and I had problems with the process. Customer service directed me to Amazon to purchase through them. I found exactly the style what I was looking for, purchased it and it arrived quickly with no problems. I immediately sewed on all my patches that were on my old pack and filled it up with my regular items. Comes with a hydration bag even though I use my pack daily. Super comfortable, very well made. This is a high quality item that cost me half as much as a Camelback would have. I'm very very pleased.
