Lillith Heart: I do find that this metal cup rinses off clean easily. I use this mainly to hold cold milk, and froth with my espresso maker’s steam wand extension. This cup has a handle which allows the user to hold it without touching the sides of the cup, which can become hot during the steaming process. I find the capacity of the cup to be adequate. It is a good size for the length of my steaming wand; It allows me to submerge the wand in 150ml milk (the inside has measurements marked) which will froth up to twice the volume without spilling out of the cup. This is a great feature. I have been able to improve my milk steaming technique with this equipment. Hold the upper corner of the handle to keep fingers away from the hot edge of the cup. Holding the steam wand in the milk against the side of the cup while angling the cup can create a good “whirlpool” effect, which helps break down large bubbles into the desired “microfoam”. The pour spout works well, I have been using it to practice cappucino art. The accessory metal wand is useful in nudging milk foam and espresso on the top of a cappucino or latte to create imagery, if the image created by the milk pour is not satisfactory....

ronin: Finding thebright volume of a pitcher seems unbelievably hard—this is my Go To pitcher for lattes for my regular sized mugs. The Ounce Measurement lines inside are easy to read—I keep the milk at around the 8-9 oz level. A double shot espresso in my mug allows me to easily swirl the hot frothed milk without spilling—this large volume and accurate/tight pouring capacity seem to be the biggest differences
of all the mugs out there. Plus the matte black coating makes it look cool and easier to hold when hot. I’ve washed this dozens of times in my dishwasher, and the black coating remains fully intact! This is a very well designed pitcher, and I REALLY appreciate that!
