Elizabeth Fontaine: You can make better poutine sauce at home. Or just use a good quality canned chicken gravy. This stuff was pretty bad. It tasted of salt and not much else. And $6 a package, when you add in the postage. Trans Canada Highway robbery!

Steve: I grew up in Montreal and I was real excited to see the St Hubert Poutine sauce on Amazon. That was one of my favorite restaurants growing up. I made Poutine tonight and it was truly authentic. I made it with home made fries and cheese curds I found at my local grocery store. The pack was plenty for the whole family. I am starting to see Poutine more and more on my local restaurant menus (Los Angeles) but nothing is like the real deal from Quebec. Will buy again for sure.
