I do actually really like this bed and the fact that it has no springs makes it a very solid bed that does not shake everything when you move. The only reason I gave 4 stars was that I was not really sure what type of firmness I was going to get. At times, I melt into this bed, then other times it seems I cannot get comfy. It is a very firm bed. So this is great for someone that needs that, but just know before you buy it, it's fiiiirm. I may end up buying a soft memory phone layer to put on it to help even it out a bit.

I just purchased the King sized version and I gotta say I love how I slowly melt in to the bed NOT sinking but melting. So basically it hugs your body so nicely. It is true to size and the bed quickly opened up to 12 inches and I LOVE it I’ve had it for a few days and I can actually sleep I wake up now no back pain. So many upsides to this mattress very affordable mattress very comfortable for me it is firm but I can also feel that plush factor when I melt in the bed. All I can say is give it a try don’t go and spend hundreds or thousands.

I never write reviews, ever, but I have to write one for this mattress. I was so skeptical at first, I'm so used to having to go lay on every mattress in every store and usually wound up paying a huge price for one. This is a firm mattress but soft, If that makes any sense. I love this mattress, this combined with a nice Amazon basic mattress pad and a heated mattress pad its like my dream mattress. If you have back issues and need a firm mattress and not something you feel like you're sinking in and curving your back they way your back dosent like. This gives great support but is so comfortable. I will admit it has only been a week or so and my old mattress is on standby in the spare bedroom. But If this has longevity I will proudly throw that Sterns and Foster to the curb. Time will tell but I hope this helps someone. Oh and, after I opened it, I let it sit for 3 days in the spare bedroom and I would peek in on it every few hours. Talk about skeptical. It is exactly 14" thick and its beautiful when fully expanded. Like I said, the only thing I worry about is 6 months from now but for what I paid, It was well worth the risk.

This is my second "bed in a box". The first one lasted 14 years, so it was just a matter of choosing. After reading SO many reviews I settled on this mattress in a queen. I've kept the old mattress for the guest room. When unboxed it I didn't see HOW that pancake was ever going to reach anything approaching 10". After 36 hours we're at 9.5 inches and the corners a fully inflated. The cover is VERY nice and I expect that missing 1/2 " will show up in a day or so. Even if it doesn't, this is a great mattress for the price and very firm and comfortable, but a caution , if THIS is "medium firm" , Firm must be cement. I love firm and this fits the bill for me. High quality, NO odors and exactly as described.
