Brian S: I am absolutely impressed with this guitar! The sound, the look, and the overall quality for the price. I just love this Tele and am so glad I added this one to my collection of other guitars. Out of my semi-hollow, Ibanez strat, Fender acoustic, and the Tele, I always grab the Tele now.
Do yourself a favor and just get it already.

RISHANTH.P.G: It’s been purchased 3 years Back but I hardly used it can find few pick up issues on high pick up position 1 on the guitar and volume and tone knobs do not respond to the the proper adjustments or not respond pick up needed and plug in female slot is loose it comes out on regular use.I would rate this product 3.5.Apart from the technical issues built of the guitar is good I dropped it twice it did not effect the guitar’s functionality apart form the issues I’ve mentioned above, finishing and wood used for the fret board is really good I would rate 4 for it hope this is helpful.

Goutham: At first the dealer sent damaged guitar but later in exchange the guitar came good

StreetDoc: This is the third Squire that I have had among my guitars. I previously owned a Squire Strat, and have had a Squire P-bass since ‘97. This does though make my first Tele. I was pretty hopeful, although I’ve never bought a guitar of any type online before. My first impression after opening the boxes was that this thing is BEAUTIFUL. The fit & finish was VERY good. The “butterscotch blonde” is really translucent, and allows a good view at the wood grain. From what I’ve read of the reviews, there are some evidently that are not translucent, but the grain shows very well in this one. This is also as best I can tell a two-piece alder body. It arrived without any damage whatsoever, so it was well protected during shipping.

It really wasn’t badly out of tune when it arrived, which surprised me. About a half step flat on all strings. But tuning & intonation was quick and easy as well. I’m starting to feel as if I’m writing a Squire Affinity commercial here... but I’m well beyond pleased with this Tele. Compared to several Squire level guitars I’ve seen, this is off-scale high in the quality and value departments. There are only two small things that I...

Scott D. Briggs: Especially on a budget. I'm a lefty player for at least 25 years on and off, not a pro., and of course I've
always had real difficulties finding decent lefty guitars, and places that support or service them properly,
in some cases, and I've never been in the position to blow upwards of $2000 on a guitar, so, I have to stick
to a budget or moderate price level instrument, which is fine since I'm no Eric Clapton, but I'm better with
rhythm guitar and fingerpicking folk-rock style, etc. My main guitar is a budget-brand (but good quality) lefty 12-string ac. electric that I use mainly for power pop, 60s-80s rock, folk rock, and such. I also own a Takamine
6 string acoustic electric that's starting to wear at the bridge a tad, but it's still playable, and some older Les Paul 100 Epiphones and a Squier basic Strat that is still in ok condition, but it's also showing some wear and tear by now. The Telecaster is a much-needed boost to my collection. I've got amps, tuners, pedals, and all kinds
of accessories, cleaning cloths and fluid, so I'm good as far as that goes. Shipping was absolutely impeccable, carefully sealed and wrapped, and came with the 2 year Fender...

Gareth Edwards: I purchased this as a project guitar and intend to refinish it and swap out some of the hardware and the pickups, but given the price range, I'll also provide some feedback if you're a beginner and looking at picking this up as an affordable guitar to start learning on.

First the Good. I was actually pleasantly surprised by quite a few a things upon receiving it:
- The alder body is 43mm (about 1.75 in.) in thickness, like a standard Telecaster. Squier's Affinity line typically have 1.5 in. bodies, which I would have been ok with, but I definitely prefer the weight/feel of the thicker body
- An Affinity Tele will generally also have a toploader bridge. Mine came with throughbody - another nice little surprise, especially for those who buy into the "increased sustain" argument
- Factory pickups are decent and this thing sounds better than I had expected
- The neck is actually pretty good. I like the contour and it didn't really need any truss rod adjustment, however, there were some things that definitely need a little work, which brings me to...

The Bad:
- Some fairly significant fret buzzing before I made any adjustments. This was the result of the...

ErwinErwin: As a guitar for a beginner I would give it 4 Stars and as a guitar for a well seasoned player I would give it 1 Star.

Why 4 Stars for a beginner?

The reason it gets such high marks is that the action was extremely low and as such very easy for a beginner to press down the strings and learn to form chords. The impressive thing is that as low as the strings were, there seemed to be no buzzing. If you compare this guitar to those cheap non brand name guitars sold at box stores then this is miles ahead.

I would not hesitate to buy this guitar for a beginner who has not played any guitar but would hesitate to buy it for a seasoned player on acoustics who just wants to try going electric. The reason that I did not give it 5 Stars for a beginner was that the guitar I got had the high E string continuously popping out of the grove in the nut. It was almost not playable, not to mention that the fret ends were so sharp that one could cut ones fingers.

Why 1 Star for a seasoned player.

I consider myself a seasoned player but not close to a super guitar player. It took me 6 weeks of looking at this guitar before I decided to jump off the fence and buy it. I...
