g: I have these on 2 of my road bikes, my gravel bike, and i wont ride without them. It's curved for field of view and not 100% sharp, but it works well. They are solid If properly installed. I adjust mine daily since they will move when leaned against something and they have never loosened up. It may pop off if you lay the bike down, but it won't fall off during normal use

Kon D.: I regularly ride with a group (mid-sized 20-30 rider peloton) on the weekends but I do maintenance rides during the week solo. On my solo rides, it's important to be able to see traffic that is coming up behind me and usually I would turn my head slightly whenever I heard a car to check if I was good. This is both tiring and somewhat dangerous as I take my eyes off the road briefly.

These rearview bike mirrors are perfect for seeing behind you and knowing if you are clear behind or if there is a vehicle getting to close. The mirrors are clear and easy to see and they remain stable during my rides even on bumpier roads.

The installation was somewhat problematic as the plug for the mirror has 3 "grommets" on the back and the plug would not go all the way in as the last grommet would not squish down enough to fit all the way in the handlebar tube. I used a knife and cut off the last grommet closest to the mirror and it fit perfectly. I've ridden 3-400 miles with it and no problems with it at all.

Sbib: I've had these from SJS cycles before on drop bar bikes and these were the first mirrors I looked for, to see if they were still on the market, for my new bike. Very happy to see SJS selling via Amazon & that clinched it for me

They're dead easy to fit, the grips that fit inside the bars are very tough and hold firm, the ball & socket joint that attaches the mirror unit is tight & inspires great confidence against minor knocks and the worst the UK roads can judder us. The 'glass' is very clear & gives a reasurringly accurate view of upcoming traffic & it's distance away.

As someone with permanent neck damage, good quality, reliable mirrors, in which you can trust the image are an essential piece of kit, not to be skimped on or hoped for the best. These are my Go-To mirrors for drop bar bikes.

Also, directly in the past or 1st time via Amazon, SJS cycles service and speed of dispatch is superb.

David L. Andrews: Ok so I picked up these after my accident last fall. I used to have bullhorns and put a mtb mirror on the end of them. It was pretty big and clear but any vibration and it was nearly useless.

Now my new bike has drop bars and I couldn't use the same mirror. I ride frequently in Shanghai China so I truly need to see behind me. Frankly it doesn't matter whats behind me I just need to know if something is there. For that these are perfect, but don't expect them to give you the same view as you get from a car mirror. It's just not going to happen and I can't think of any mirrors where that will happen on a bicycle. Well at least none anyone would accept using.

These are small, what you get when you look down at them is basically clear road/not clear road. Why you would need more than that I've no idea. I can see things about 40-50 yards behind me pretty well beyond that, they are just too small to make out. So if you are using these on a road where vehicles come by at a fast speed, I can see how they just wouldn't work unless you have excellent eyesight.

Abstraction Man: Naturally, this entire review is personal opinion, but I've tried several bikes and helmet mirrors for my road bike and never found any worth keeping before the Sprintech. Despite positive reviews I hesitated to buy it because so many bike mirrors just don't seem to work. Either their field of view is too narrow and you can't see approaching dangers, so wide that the danger is there but too small to see, or it takes so much effort to focus on the mirror that you're blind to what's ahead of you for too long.

The Sprintech is different. It works just the way a road cyclist needs. You can QUICKLY glance down and see what's approaching from behind. For me its field of view is wide enough that it will reflect just about anything that's a danger, but narrow enough so that said danger isn't so small that it's nearly invisible. (Keep in mind there is some distortion like in any wide angle mirror, so objects are closer than they appear, but the important thing is you can see that approaching car.) Just like when driving you're going to want to glance over your shoulder before changing lanes just to be sure.
