sweetmustard: This does not work well for my purpose - troubleshooting a string of Christmas lights. It is way too sensitive which makes it impossible to distinguish between the twisted wires (impossible to get enough distance between the wires so that this device doesn't give a false positive).
Quite pricey too compared to other options in local stores.

Bradlee: I've owned alot of these , most would be to sensitive and go off if you were a foot from it, this one will allow you to be close to the source before beeping. Alot simpler use.
