Crystal: This bed is attractive for a young persons room. The quality is good at this price. Assembly took time like this type of furniture always does but all in all pretty easy. Definitely helps if you have a driver tool. I can’t imagine doing it with basic hand tools. It would have taken a lot longer!! There are a lot of parts. I did it in two hours with good tools.

John: This things creaks like I’ve had it for fifty years. As it turns out, 5 months.

It holds my weight, but the noise is irritating.

This bed was difficult to put together. Get a friend to help you. I did and it still took us two hours.

I love the cabinet storage though. I wish they made more bed frames with that type of design. The small cabinets are ideal, and makes separating different clothing types easy. And it looks nice!

Customer service was great though. My bed was missing two pieces and they sent them out to me asap after a very quick phone call. Easy peasy, and I really appreciated that.

Amazon Customer: We needed a bed with extra storage and this was the right look and scale for my daughter's room. The assembly was not easy (think IKEA 20 years ago) but by carefully following instructions, my daughter and husband had it built in about an hour. Note that it comes with 4 grey storage bins (2 packs of 2), not just 2, as suggested in one of the Q&A's. My daughter loves her new bed!

BB: Bought this for my son and it seemed as thought it was rushes when making it. A few factory-drilled holes were not completely drilled out which affected some of the aesthetic finish when I drilled then out.
The packagaing was full of sawdust as if it was all predrilled in the box.
Instructions were pretty great.
There were surface scratches on finished sides as seen in picture above.

Otherwise the bed looks good and holds storage.

Hinsley AmyHinsley Amy: I bought this frame because I have a memory foam mattress that needs a solid foundation, not just slats. It came in two boxes on different days so at first I thought they didn't send me everything. But it showed up and they are super heavy. One was 75 lbs and one was 125 lbs.

Assembly was straightforward following the instructions except for the very last step where there is no hole for the screw for the brackets. Had to drill a hole first. Don't know how long assembly took since I took many breaks. A drill with a Philip's head bit was a life saver.

I've only slept on it a few nights so far. No creaking sounds while moving around. I used all of the interior space under the boards for extra storage, part of the reason I liked this bed frame in particular.

V. LongV. Long: We ordered the bed through Amazon and received it within a week. The two packages are very heavy so I'd recommend getting the delivery persons to move them into the room where the bed will be used. Make sure you assemble the bed in the room where it will be used.

When constructing the bed there are several references to LEFT and RIGHT sides of the bed...these assume you are standing at the foot of the bed looking at the bed (not the sides you sleep on!)
Also, towards the end of assembly you'll install 8 brackets that support the 4 slats. There are no holes started for the screws so unless you have gorilla-like strength you'll need to drill some small pilot holes (1/16") to get the screws in. Other than that, the instructions are well-written and easy to follow.

I don't think this is in the literature but the bed can be moved by removing the 8 bolts (4 at head and 4 at foot) that are held by captive nuts. This will separate the bed into some small parts and 3 main support cabinets. There's also a large cavity under the bed between the cabinets to store stuff that you don't plan on using for awhile.

LSHuff: These beds are awesome!! My daughters love them. The storage the bed has is fabulous.
The materials were packaged extremely well, the instructors were easy to follow but could have been better (so says Hubby), would have preferred wooden dowels over plastic.
Overall, awesome bed! Very happy with it :)

SaraSara: This took a minute to build, and I mean, it took a while. This bed took me at least two hours to put together; however, I was using a screwdriver, I am small, and I had to build it by myself. At some points, the instructions were just mildly confusing. It arrived here two weeks sooner than it said it would, and it was in perfect condition.
Some pieces do not line up perfectly, and there are small gaps, but they are easy to hide if you have a flat sheet or a comforter. The cubes can hold so much stuff, and it matches perfectly with my shelves that are also cubes. Although my mattress slides on top of it to one side over time because my cat runs and jumps onto it, it is easy to scoot back into place with a slight nudge. It is incredibly sturdy, has a lot of storage, and my cat really likes it too.
Beware, my cat did figure out how to pull the cubes out of the shelves, and she takes naps inside them, so if you have cats, they will figure that out within a matter of hours.
Also, the gold and white cube (the middle cubes) in the picture, I bought from Wal-Mart.

Telma SantosTelma Santos: Amazing value!! We are revamping our room so we still need to paint and hang our floating headboard but so far we are thrilled!

This bed took two people to assemble and about 1.5 to 2 hrs. The instructions were easy to follow and all pieces accounted for.

Boxes were extremely heavy so I recommend opening them at the door and carrying piece by piece into the room.

There was no scratches or dents. It is so sturdy and the draws are a great size for socks and bedsheets etc.

Would definitely recommend for a smaller room (space saving).

Price was on point for me and worked well in our budget for. We got the kind size.

Jenn0119: The bed is sturdy, looks good, and has plenty of storage.
Only 2 'negative' points that I have are
1) it should come with more storage boxes as there are 6 cubbies and only 2 boxes
2) the pieces that make up the part of the bed that the mattress goes on are poorly fit. If not places properly they call into the cubbies and when you push on the mattress, they slide up and off the bed. we fixed it by adding a piece of wood, and screwing them into place. Other than that tho, I would recommend.
