SNBow: I bought several of the very first racket style bug zapper when they came on the market and they were good, but didn't last long. Then they begin coming out with some sort of shields over the wires, I guess to prevent idiots from sticking their faces in it. Problem is, they also prevent mosquitos from getting fried, they just bounce off those shields and have dinner on you..
This year I ordered one of these Executioner Pros and man, my yard doesn't have enough mosquitoes! It's too cool when this monster zaps one, it's a serious ZAP, louder and more flash than those cheaper ones. I carry it all over the year searching for mosquitos but I think they all hide when they see me with this bad-boy Executioner in my hand! Does Amazon sell mosquitos? Probably.

donbodadonbo: I live at the edge of a forest, so have lots of insects to deal with. I own many brands of bug zappers & have a 9 year old version of this Executioner Pro as well (it still works, but is my favorite, so when I needed another, I bought this updated model).

Pros:
1) Uses 1 layer of metal rods. The 3 layer models have 2 outer protective layers that actually repel bugs, making some of them bounce off & escape. The outer layers do not zap, their purpose is to protect fingers from getting zapped. This 1 layer model is much more effective at killing bugs.
2) most new Bug Zappers have USB recharging with a cord, more junk to have laying around the house & more money spent on a cord as part of the zapper’s price. I have dozens of rechargeable batteries so I don’t need to spend extra on a cord I don’t need.
3) This new version seems MUCH more powerful. The old one easily killed the small flies (dark brown with wings that resemble the Stealth Bomber jets), but they would often stick to the metal rods of the Zapper. This new model has completely vaporized all these bugs it has come into contact with (possibly into such small pieces that I can’t see...

MHM: First,i'll start by saying that this is the big brother of the standard Executioner. It is much larger and much more powerful. The measurements are 22in in legnth, the actual racket head measures 10 1/2 in x 8 in. The handle is the same size as an actual tennis racket, give or take. It is built very well and is very sturdy. It comes with a very nice case, and uses 2C cell batteries which are included. The unit activates with a single push button on the handle with a solid click,it must be held in manually. A red led and a high pitched whine let you know it is powered up and ready for business! This thing will kill pretty much whatever it touches in the bug world. It does so with a bright blue flash, and a snap that i louder that several cap guns. By mistake i swung at something at night and it was a bat, and this unit killed it (sorry, it was not intentional, i know bats are useful,my bad). This unit does not have the protective mesh on the racket to protect you from shock, so be careful.
