Shequila FrancisShequila Francis: Colors lay down smooth, you get quite a bit of pigment being budget pencils, i think the quality is great for the price range. Blending was very easy and seemless. Being wax based soft pencils though 3 layers should be enough anymore than that may not be a good idea, especially if your heavy handed. The tin it comes in is pretty sturdy i think only 1 or 2 pencils came broken at the tips. Overall being my first set of colored pencils I'm really happy with these and i recommend this set as a gift or for anyone starting out coloring like i am.

D. Wilmoth: These Soucolor pencils are excellent. I own and have used high end pencils - Holbiens, Polychromos, Prismacolors and would recommend this set for the value. Very nice lay down and pigment with a nice assortment of colors. Fairly soft core, comparable to Black Widows and not waxy like Prismas.

Dianna Raisor: I absolutely love the colored pencils. I have used them for a while, and just love how they color. They are smooth to work with and the colors are really great. Some have said there are too many greens, but I am very happy with my set. I would buy them again if needed. If you are wondering about the quality of this set, I have not found any broken or poor quality. If you are a beginner or just want to supply your stash, I believe you will like these pencils. In my opinion they are just as good as the more expensive brands.

Donc pour ce qui est du qualité,prix…je suis satisfaite.Les crayons ont une bonne texture crémeuse.Comme je possede plusieurs sortes de crayons,j’aime bien me servir d’une charte,cela facilite le choix des couleurs et évite qu’on ne se servent toujours des memes crayons. Mais j’avoue que la charte de ces crayons m’a beaucoup déplus.
Tout d’abord,les num. ne se suivent pas sur la charte. Il y a d’autres marques que c’est comme ça mais au moins,les crayons sont classés par couleurs! Dans ce cas ci pas de suite logique ni de catégorie de couleurs et le pire,lorsque l’on veut colorier cette fameuse charte,même l’ordre des couleurs sur les palettes de plastiques ne se suivent pas. Cela m’a pris près de 3 hres pour démêler le tout

I wanted a lot of colors, pencils that wouldn't deteriorate when sharpened and blendable so they could be layered. Oh, and a case, like my Prismas.

Pro: These checked all my initial boxes.

Pro: they don't tear up the coloring book paper like cheaper pencils when layered.

After use, I had unexpected cons. The colors aren't true. The box is a little too tight. Initially, it was challenging navigating through so many trays. Especially since the butts don't match their leads.

For example, cheap Craze Art and Crayola peach are the same color. This peach is reddish and wrong. Maybe it's fruit peach, which is reddish brown. Nude is more like peach in any other set of pencils.

I've never done swatches, I generally know what I'm looking for. These colors force you to. The pencils are arranged weird. They aren't in numerical order or by shades going dark to light or vice-versa. For instance, blues are in three different trays. Why? I felt forced to swatch and reorganize...

BriannaBrianna: So I'll preface this by saying I've been an artist for nearly 30 years. I've used a lot of amazing materials and products.... And I would count these among them. I ordered these on a whim due to them being on sale and how many came in the order -180 is a good amount for the price so I chanced it.

These exceeded expectations. They are as buttery and creamy as Prisma color while being as sturdy as Derwent and as bright as Faber Castell. My next art project I'm reaching for these! They sharpen well and blend even better. The range and price are fantastic.

I honestly feel like I'm nitpicking giving a negative but the only critique I have is concerning the included color chart. The pencils themselves are in random order and the chart is mostly as well. There is some groupings of color but it's a bit chaotic. Also, the chart is double sided so it took me several minutes to realize that I was placing color swaths on both sides. I would have much preferred a more organized system with a gradual gradient of color in numerical order. Maybe they have a reason for this so I will remain more neutral given the quality. Vera Bryan: Nice pencils to use. Fairly soft cores, so they won’t last long, with lots of sharpening needed. Not to sure how lightfast the pigments will be, so am expecting many to be fugitive. For basic daily use, this is a great set. Looks good, feels good...more waxy than oil based. Actually, best described as a crayon in a pencil. Awesome gift for kids!

Shaz GinnsShaz Ginns: I received these lovely pencils today and look forward to using them. They are just as advertised and every colour is different. Sadly the metal container in which they came was dented and a couple of the pencil ends crushed. Strangely the postal packing box was pristine, completely undamaged and gave no indication as to the condition of the contents. I am left pleased with the product but unimpressed with the delivery.
