B: These are Go bag ready, they can be recharged or if there is no electricity you can use regular old batteries. Having this choice is essential in a “Go bag” situation, they are well built and give off very bright light. We purchased six of them and they are packed and ready for that emergency that we all hope and pray we never have to endure.

Biker Bob: First off, don't buy this for the batteries. I did an initial test on the 4 cells and the capacity of each cell was around 1700 mA discharge at 1 Amp, so NOT the 2200 mAH stated. The internal resistance of the cells were 150 miliohms, 170 miliohms, 154 miliohms, and a whopping 482 miliohms. I only have experience with flat top batteries so a similar rated battery is usually never over around 30 miliohms... Not a good sign. The flashlight will also only take button tops. I was hoping to use my flat tops for spare, but now I'm stuck with a single set of crappy batteries until I spend more money for some button tops. The up side is that you can get 18650 batteries to replace the crappy ones... at least. Also, at least this company doesn't make the false claim of IP65 water proof. There is no way that this unit can be submerged without water damage. There is NO seal on the battery compartment and there is a clear path into the circuitry... It may take splashes, but I'd be real careful with wet.
Now that I've bashed the cons, there are a few pros... I like the fact that you can replace the 18650s and that's a huge plus to me. They weren't very expensive and that's a good thing....

J. Alexander: It's nice that they come in a matching set, and the price is not too bad! That said, they don't quite meet expectations. I'll break it down to pros and cons here.
Pros:
1. Durable construction with rubberized pads in strategic locations to prevent both damage to the lights and damage to other objects from the lights.
2. Fairly thin design.
3. Reasonably bright for the price.
4. Included charging cables.
5. Rechargeable battery cells appear to be good quality, and battery life is excellent.
6. Two brightness settings for different usage scenarios.
7. Can run on AA batteries if you are unable to recharge and still need light.
8. Good price.
Cons
1. Battery lids slide of WAY to easily. You might expect this after the lights were used for a while, but my battery lids were sliding off with the slightest contact. It was a little inconvenient to keep having to put the battery lids back in place during usage.
2. No tripod mount option.
3. No hook or carabiner option, and no way to easily attach one in a convenient spot. You could put one on the little brace (the one that rotates out to allow you to support the light leaning at an angle), but...

Amaizing Amazon Customer: Let me get the bad out of the way. It's plastic but well made. One of the battery doors doesn't close well. That's it. On to the good which is going to be a list.
1. Bright - not sure if it's really 1500 lumens but it's bright enough to fill a 20' x 20' room while lights were hung.
2. Weight - It's lite and easy to carry.
3. Connectivity - You can power it via micro USB, 2 x 18650 batteries, or 4 AA batteries.
4. COB LEDs - Chip on Board LED's are becoming the brightest thing you can find watt per lumen. When the batteries get low the LED dims unlike others which simply cut off leaving you in the dark.
5. USB A Port - It has a full size USB port to power a camera or phone.
6. Has a handle that works well to hang it with or use as a stand.
7. Includes 2 x 18650 button top batteries which when tested lasted 4 hours before noticeably dimming. After 6 hours we changed the batteries as the light was about half it's normal brightness. These batteries were charged using a high quality charger for various sizes and types of batteries, not in the light with the usb cable.
Was not expecting this light to work as well as it does. Looking at purchasing more as...
