Miriya SmithMiriya Smith: i purchased these to use as bunk beds but oncei got them built they fit in the room nicely on their own. they are VERY sturdy wooden beds and i am super happy with the quality. It was kind of a pain in the butt to build and i highly recommend using the drill with the allen wrench attachment because building this whole thing with just the allen wrench it came with will kill your fingers. Eventually i will stack the twin on top of the full and use it as a Bunk Bed but i like the way it looks like this right now. Tip: pay attention to the treading on the screw pictures. i built the entire first bed with the wrong long screws and had to take the whole thing apart.

Shawna SShawna S: It looks nice. It wasn't impossible to build. But there were numerous dents, scrapes and scratches all over, and not small ones. And there is no protection for the kids from splinters on the bed slats, they scrape all over the top mattress and rain splinters down onto the bottom mattress. Is there something that was supposed to come with this bed to cover the underside of the top bunk?

Vaerlina: A little difficult to put together - I would recommend laying out your pieces and parts in the order you’ll need them before you start putting things together. Easy to overtighten in some areas causing cracking in one of our headboard pieces, sadly. Also nicks quite easily. Otherwise it seems sturdy and works well. Bottom holds two adults when we’ve had guests over, though not much headspace.

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: The assembly of the bunk bed was pretty easy and we had it together in about 2+ hours. A drill was very helpful in the process.

The materials used to construct the bed seem to be fairly decent and sturdy.

The negative things about the bed so far is that it nicks VERY easily. The slightest bump with anything leaves a dent and and takes the finish off, even something as small as a button on a shirt, or ring on a finger. I’ve purchased stain pens to cover marks and they work well so far, but dents are still visible.

One thing that really bothers me is that the bed is not espresso, which is typically a dark brown stain. It is very red in hue, very similar to mahogany. All the wooden furniture in my sons room is varying brown colours, and the red really clashes, so please note when ordering if you care about that sort of thing.

Yvette Ortega: We ordered this for our daughters to make room for our 3rd child coming soon. We didn't want to spend much on a bunk bed because it is a temporary solution until we find a more permanent living location. We also didn't want to buy a metal bunk. Our kids are 2 and 6. We ordered the gray color to match the other furniture in the room.

This item did take longer than most Prime items. It took about a week, though it had arrived in our city two days prior to the delivery and FedEx had a note in the tracking "does not have to be delivered today." When it arrived, the box was slightly damaged but nothing alarming. When opening the box, we were surprised how exact the color was and the packaging to our crib/dresser by Stork Craft. Everything looked the same, including the tools and packaging. That set off some alarms because our Stork Craft Furniture for the dress came in broken, and was missing 1 bolt.

It's best to give yourself plenty of space when separating the materials. For us, we built some of it in our living room because of how much space the full size took up. Then we connected it all in their bedroom. It does take a while to set up with a lot of...
