Elisabeth Mellott: I have waited to do a review to confirm the longevity of the frame. My husband and I have had this king frame for about a year now. It was very easy to assemble out of the package and I don't anticipate any difficulty when we move but we did keep the instructions just in case. We don't have a box spring, just a mattress and it provides height around the hip (I'm 5'3"). If one were to be lying down doing exercise from head to foot, there is squeaking. However, if you turn the exercise be side to side, there is very minimal squeaking. Overall, love the bed frame and it looks great.

Michael: For me, my mattress with no box spring covers most of the wooden headboard so it wasn't a big deal BUT the wood was chipped. That was my only worry with this model was the two large pieces of that "wood" slab shipping to my home with no damage. Everything is packaged well, took me about an hour to put together myself, a LOT of stuff to through away after putting it together as far as boxes and wrappings and foam but I'd rather it be overstuffed with padding like that I guess. Overall, for the price and the look I'm very happy with it, I feel like the headboard took the bulk of the time to put together and then the rest you could kind of build off the headboard so it was good. The chips I was able to mostly hide either on the backside of the bed that faces the wall or with my mattress covering it anyway so no harm no foul. Still can't give it 5 though because of that.
