LuigiLuigi: Premetto che l'ho comprato per mia moglie, che ha avuto una micro lesione, incompleta e composta, al quinto metacarpo; in seguito ad un caduta. Dopo 3 settimane, abbiamo deciso, si di togliere la stecca con fasciatura, che le aveva fatto l'ortopedico dell'ospedale, ma di continuare a proteggere la mano, la notte e durante attività quotidiane più pesanti, per un altro po di tempo; per garantire una migliore guarigione. Il tutore acquistato, sembra fare proprio al caso nostro. Facile da mettere e togliere in piena autonomia e leggero da indossare. Unico neo da segnalare, la taglia unica, che si adatta maglio ad una mano da uomo. E vero che le fascie di tenuta si adattano alla mano, ma la lunghezza del tutore è fissa, per cui la parte che avvolge l'anulare e il mignolo li avvolge più verso le punte come si vede nella foto della recensione a differenza della foto proposta dal venditore, impedendole anche piccoli movimenti dell'anulare e risultando più ingombrante. Per questo non dò 5 stelle.

Greg: Unfortunately, I ended up with a boxers fracture. Having had one before, I was quite familiar with the recovery process. Ordered this, and used it for a week for convenience and to save some $. Went to an urgent care for a quick x-ray to confirm everything was healing properly and the doctor was very impressed with the quality of this brace. Out of curiosity I asked the urgent care about their pricing for a similar brace. $450. Definitely worth a purchase if you find yourself in a stick situation. Just make sure you bend the metal guide/support rods in a way that keeps your fingers slightly bent inwards!
