Soft Mesh Dog Muzzle for Small, Medium, and Large Dogs

deirdre addams: I ordered mine too big. My dog is aggressive i don't think it is bite proof enough for mine. I think it would be great for a normal family pet. I did note you could not use a halty with this muzzle. You would have to put the halti on top. That would be uncomfortable for the dog

• Ease of putting on puppy (drop a couple of kibbles or a treat inside and slip the muzzle right on his snout).
• The design and material allows drinking & sniffing.
DISLIKES:
• Material is fraying & tearing from puppy rubbing muzzle on ground

I'm gonna buy a 2nd one since pup is used to the feel of the 1st. ☆☆☆☆

Charisa: This works well enough to keep our furry friend from licking herself, but it’s possible for her to get it off. I would like it better if it fastened to the collar in the back rather than the front. Also it hit her in a way the it right below her eyes and looks kind of uncomfortable. It seems to be simultaneously too long and yet not quite big enough around. I like that it supposedly allows for panting and could allow for drinking as well.

Shamm: I really wanted this one to work because it’s mesh completely breathable, has a barrier so he can’t stick his tongue out and grab things. But still was too big for my Yorky who needed an extra small. This stated that it was extra small but it’s not. It’s more like a medium on him. But like I said, it would have been otherwise perfect I really hoped it would work

whysoserioushuh: Ended up being a little big even though I measured it right, but it still fits and my dog doesnt mind it. Now I don’t have to worry about her eating random things outside!! One day she brought me a mouthful of rocks, so this was definitely needed 😂 easy to train your dog to use and highly recommend. It also does not restrict their mouth to being closed, so they can have their mouth open and pant/breathe naturally, its more humane than a lot of others i have seen.

patty15 in OCpatty15 in OC: We have a 12 lb mini poodle rescue who previously spent time searching for food on his own. He eats well now but can't break the foraging habit and we have wildlife visitors who sometimes leave poop overnight so something had to be done.
He measured in-between an XS and an XS+. I ordered the XS+ first, however it was too large to adjust down and could even be slipped off without unclipping. The XS fits better and it does work. I only have it on him for a few minutes in the morning when he goes out in the yard to eliminate since he lives in the house and doesn't need it on walks where I'm quick to intercede. I wouldn't keep it on him unsupervised for more than a few minutes. You can see he's not happy with it on. It could be chewed up in a minute if he got it off but it is soft against his face.

AdriannaAdrianna: I was having a lot of trouble of finding a lightweight muzzle for my small dog that would be good quality, and this one gets the job done! I'm very satisfied with my purchase and definitely recommend for smaller dogs if you need an all round muzzle for grooming or walks.

Jess: First off, I did not buy this muzzle for an aggressive dog. If you are looking for something to stop biting, I don’t think this is the muzzle for you. I personally think it would not be difficult for a dog to bite through this muzzle if they wanted to.

I purchased this muzzle as a type of cone replacement. My dog has severe allergies and if we’re not looking or not there to watch her she will chew anywhere she thinks is itchy and leave patches of fur and irritated skin. I specifically chose this muzzle because of the soft mesh and the extra strap on the top of the head, which is not very common but greatly helps in preventing your dog from pawing the muzzle off. I only purchase muzzles with a head strap.

I am incredibly happy with this muzzle because she can breathe easily, drink water, and her skin around the muzzle doesn’t get irritated by hard plastic. Beware that if you want to use this muzzle often your dog WILL figure out how to get it off eventually, as will they with any muzzle and a bit of alone time, but this one has lasted the longest by far before needing extra help. And even then, we just attached the back strap to a collar and then the problem is...
