Adam Earhart: The first thing I notice is that these were shipped to me in a square vacuum sealed bag. It is not resealable. I have been ordering this loofah for 3 years, and it has always come in a resealable plastic tube. I like to stay organized, so the bag was a reason for continuing with this brand. I always know where they are and when I am out. Now I just have loofahs lying around.

When they shipped in the sleeve/tube, they arrived in tight uniform balls. Overtime, you use them, and they spread out. The ones that shipped to me in the vacuum bag look like they have been used for 2 weeks before they were packaged. They are all stretched out and in no way resemble a ball.

I was fine when they raised their price by $5 last year because I was receiving a quality product. Now it just seems absurd to pay the same price for a product that is not the same as it used to be. I will be looking for a new product.

Aaron: You want suds and foam from your bath soap. This loofah will do the job. And it will last a while. They will become loose after time but they last well past their stated durability. They are not soft but they also aren't going to scratch you. Overall very good loofah.

Tony Owens: I have used various shower sponges through the years and found they are either coarse or simply separate after a short period of time. I purchased a three pack of these sponges and could truly not be happier! They are very soft, yet clean extremely well. They hold the shower soap for a long while and (and I take long showers!) and rinse easily. I had a few other sponges from different manufacturers stored away but just tossed them out as they could not compare to these sponges. Try a three pack and you'll never buy another brand!

LegerSmash!: Took me about 4 months of daily use scrubbing hydraulic oil and mill grease off my body before the strap finally gave way. That was the only thing that broke on it... This thing is tough, it lasts and does it's job for sure.

Thomas: I was excited to receive my order based on the reviews. The loofah is definitely soft and much better than other products I have purchased from the drug store. My one complaint is that the one I started using seems to have loosened up after a few washes. I thought it would stay in tact much longer, but maybe this one is just a faulty product. I'm hopeful this one will hold, and that the other 2 are okay, but if they fall apart just as quick I'll definitely be reaching out to the vendor.

The Critical Critic: I'm a bit of a bath snob. I quit using washcloths a long time ago. That's how losers bathe. Loofahs are where it's at.

Unfortunately, everybody runs a trash loofah company and they peddle them at where you buy your groceries and lawn supplies. We've all used these loofahs. Staples (why?), weak mesh materials, terrible construction. If you're not scratching yourself with plastic, you're trying to hold the thing together.

These guys, though. The best (and most reasonably priced) loofah I've used in ages. They're not perfect. They will start to wear down after a while, but look at the price, guy--you definitely get your money's worth in the longevity department. In the meantime, you're going to enjoy a comfortable scrub every single time. And since they come in a three-pack, throw that worn-out one away...you have two more on deck.

This one's a no-brainer. You'll thank me for it.
