Kathleen Kennedy: These are just what I was looking for: a big stack of BROWN wash cloths for washing off my make up at day’s end. They are all cotton and I have a big stack of them now (24 for about $20). A great buy! They do shrink but that makes them denser and I like that. SO MUCH BETTER THAN non-biodegradable POLYESTER ONE TIME USE MAKE UP REMOVER WIPES. We are drowning in toxic plastics folks! Those polyester wipes will be in the landfills forever.

KittyMac: I got both these and the Amazon Basics ones to compare and these are way superior for my needs. Thinner and less plush. The Amazon ones are advertised as quick drying but they are really slow drying. Thick as can be, which feels pleasantly soft, but doesn't do as good a job at scouring skin or dishes, and they are still damp 24h after use in my humid region, which is asking for mildew. In contrast these ones are not so nice to touch but the extra friction is better for exfoliating skin in the shower and scrubbing dishes in the kitchen, and the thinner cloth dries much faster. A good, practical wash cloth. But if it's beauty and luxurious plushness you are after, look elsewhere.
