Marie AlexisMarie Alexis: everything makes sense as you continue reading. the layout was definitely new for me but a cool way of interpreting a influencers life. you start to question is this a reality for them. has some mystery , comedy and love in here which i like. if you are looking for something fresh with with some gen z LA energy this is the one. i finished this book and order volume 2 the same night.

Alexander VilledaAlexander Villeda: Snotgirl es un excelente cómic que me ha dejado enganchado desde el primer número, Bryan Lee O'Malley tiene un gran talento para escribir personajes divertidos e interesantes y aquí está la clara prueba de ello a través del dibujo de Leslie Hung, quien tiene un estilo precioso.

Resulta bastante fácil encariñarse o tener un crush con alguno de los personajes, quién diría que una chica tan superficial puede tener más personalidad de la que muestra en redes sociales.

Sobre la edición: a pesar de ser tapa blanda es muy superior a la edición mexicana, especialmente en la calidad de sus hojas. Tiene acabados muy bonitos, es mate mientras algunos detalles tienen una textura "aperlada"

Nerd Mochilinha - Matheus Laneri: Vivemos em tempos gloriosos e ao mesmo tempo em tempos horríveis. Influenciadores digitais existem aos montes por aí, e aqui temos um grande exemplo disso. Snotgirl conta a história de Lottie, a Garota Ranho (ou ranhenta, ou algo assim, você escolhe), uma digital influencer que é uma porta e que acaba se envolve em um caso bizarro.

A história em si nem importa, o que é mais fascinante aqui é o UNIVERSO DE PERSONAGENS que rodeia a personagem principal. É uma bobagem atrás da outra com situações hilárias e que só mostram como esse pessoal que vive em função das redes sociais é tudo tapado. Bryan Lee O'Malley escreveu a obra definitiva da Geração Y (Scott Pilgrim) e aqui prepara terreno para escrever uma obra pesada sobre a Geração Z.

Altamente recomendável.

Aviva Artzy: If you love/hate social media and are eh about comics but are willing to give some a try, this is a great place to start!
Pros: the art and colours are gorgeous, the writing is hilarious and it's overall a super well put together and well thought out comic
Cons: you have to be willing to read a comic about girls who are unironically obsessed with their social media presence so if that's not your thing, maybe don't read this?

Jojojo: Snotgirl ist ein Comic in dem es um eine junge Frau geht, die mit dem offiziellen Bild von sich selbst und ihrem persönlichen Eindruck hadert. Der zeichenstil gefällt mir sehr gut und die Story ist ebenfalls unterhaltsam. Passend für junge Erwachsene. Freue mich auf den nächsten band.

Kyle: Snotgirl is the kind of comic book that I bought purely on visuals and with no knowledge of the plot. That being said, it exceeded any and all expectations that I had. It’s an intriguing and contemporary story that feels truly modern and also, somehow, feels completely original in a way that you can’t quite put your finger on. Like everything these days, it recycles a lot of tried-and-tested plot points, but does so with an unexpected degree of humour and charm. Not only does everything about the story, from the plot to the dialogue, seem extremely accessible and effortlessly cool, but the artwork is some of the best I’ve seen in a comic. It’s sharp, it’s coloruful, and each of the well-defined characters stand out... not just the one with green hair! I strongly recommend this for anybody who’s looking for something a little different.

Sofia: There are a lot of things to enjoy about this comic - the themes, the characters, the plot, the style/illustration. It's very Black Swan-esque and definitely leaves you wanting more. I bought the volume on a whim (I had heard of it before, but didn't know much about the plot - which I think worked out better for me, because one of the things I enjoyed the most was the ambiguous-ness of the storyline) - mainly being interested in it because I liked the artist's style. I know O'Malley had a lot of success with Scott Pilgrim, but to be honest, I couldn't get into those comics because of the way they were drawn (I know, I know, bad excuse). Either way, I had heard that his writing was good, so when I saw that he had paired up with another artist for Snot Girl, I was intrigued (and definitely not disappointed). Overall, I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good read.

Wendy Wang: I disagree that the characters are underdeveloped and flat. You see, this is a story about Lottie, and Lottie is a self obsessed digital influencer--you're not supposed to get to know her friends on a deeper level because this isn't about them. They're probably not even truly friends. Normgirl IS supposed to be forgettable and replaceable because that's how Lottie thinks of her. As for Lottie herself, I get the feeling volume 1 is setting her up as a shallow person now to better show her changes later as we delve deeper into this strange turn of events. If the rest of this volume had just continued with the initial vain blogger plot line, it would have been a cute but rather boring series, but I like where it's going and definitely will be reading more.
