Kristina: The colors and quality of ink of these pens is fantastic but they don't last for a very long time. Even after a few days, some of the pens seem like they're running out of ink even though there is plenty left. They're great while they last though and the price is probably worth the short duration you get!

Sunny: I was getting fed up with the modern day ink gel pens even the ones from the big brands. I search long and hard for something where the ink dries fast and precise writing. Something not sloppy and not messy. I also was looking for something thin to take notes. This is it right here! Most people will want to go up one size but I really wanted something thin and I'm super happy with these. Would definitely buy again or recommend to a friend.

Maya (Z.H): The XSG Black Gel Pens, especially the 0.5mm extra fine point version, have completely won me over as the best gel pens I've ever used. These pens have become a staple in my daily writing and note-taking routine for a multitude of reasons.

First and foremost, the smoothness of these pens is unparalleled. Despite their fine tip, they effortlessly glide across the page, providing a writing experience that is both precise and effortless. The ink flows consistently from start to finish, and these pens rarely experience any hiccups until they're completely out of ink, which is impressive.

I'm such a fan of these pens that I've also invested in their colored versions, which maintain the same exceptional quality. It's a testament to the Japanese craftsmanship; they truly understand how to make a reliable and enjoyable writing instrument.

One drawback I've encountered is the cap design. While they serve their purpose, I occasionally find myself losing them, which can be a minor inconvenience. It would be fantastic if XSG offered a click version for added convenience and to mitigate the cap issue.

Lastly, even the exterior design of these pens is well thought...

I have an atypical pen grip so this is likely a me issue but I figured I'd mention it for any other freaks out there like me that can't hold a pen right. Anyway the colors are vibrant and pretty, and I love how fine the tip is!

K_V: I love these pens. They write great. I, however, hate the lids!! They do not secure very well to the back of the pen when you’re writing. They fall off very easily.

Eva Z.: The design is very similar but don't mistake these for Muji pens! You've been warned : )

I was looking for a Muji substitute since I go through them pretty fast and they're pricey... yet I've been spoiled by them, making me reluctant to settle for less. So! With that in mind, I would say these pens are actually pretty good value. The ink is nice and doesn't smudge once dried. (This gets an A++ in my book.) The grip and overall feel of the pen is very Muji-esque. However, it writes more smoothly and is a bit inkier so the ink will bleed through the paper just a tiny bit more. No inkblots, but precision is not quite the same, as the 0.5mm thickness varies a little depending on pressure.

Having said all that, I will still happily use them since they serve my intended purpose well enough. If only these came in 0.38mm I would be completely sold!
