With a sleek white finish and easy installation, you can't go wrong with the PD-6ANS-WH. Plus, its build quality, color range, and connectivity make it one of the best Electrical Light Switches on the market. Visit the Lutron Store today!Christopher Smith: While this is the exception, because I actually did have a neutral at this location, most of my house doesn't have neutral wires. So it's great that Caseta works on my older home. These are great, look great, work great with Alexa and Siri. Best way to upgrade an older home.

Michael: Great products, well designed, though very expensive. Using Caseta saves having to run wires for 3-way switches, so it's still a win. And accessing the system from a cell phone (and from another location!) is just fantastic! For the simple on-off switch though, you'll need a neutral wire in the box. Otherwise the dimmer will work off a hot only.
To do a whole home will cost thousands in switches.

Vince: Curiously if you buy the Lutron Caseta dimmer it does not need a neutral wire but if you just buy the smart switch it does need a neutral wire. Good to check if you've got one before you buy this. Unit works exactly as advertised and installed without any trouble.

Tony Field: This was shipped on time and the product is fine. No issues with the vendor or the product at all.
Just be careful which switch you order. There is a variant of this that requires a neutral wire (this one) and there is another variant that does not. The "no neutral wire" variant has a different minimum power rating that might affect you (especially if you want to use it to power a few LED lights). So do your research.
I bought three of these and can only use two because my third location isn't compatible.

J. WhitesideJ. Whiteside: I own a 1985 home that I've recently been trying to add some smart functions. I got hooked into smart home tech after solving a few basic quality of life issues through automation. My next project was lighting. I debated between adding smart bulbs or smart switches and after trialing these Lutron's - the smart switches clearly won.
These basic on/off switches are great for locations where you don't want dimming functions. Locations such as fans, fluorescent ballasts, outdoor security lights and the like. They provide simple push on-off capabilities, "smart" on/off through the Lutron app and in my case, advanced control using an integration with Home Assistant. It's really cool to see and control the status of my lighting/fans, regardless of where I'm at.
Pairing the switches with your Lutron hub was quite intuitive and easy to do. Just press a button while you add the switch in the app. Integration into Home Assistant was equally easy, the native Lutron integration is quite slick. For examples of how I use these switches for advanced automation? If I take a shower, I use humidity values to turn on or off my exhaust fans. I also have motion detection triggering the...

Rick: There are cheaper brands but I have other Lutrons in my home and didn't want to mix and match. They work very well and are extremely reliable. I am quite handy with most things but lack confidence on electrical as I worry about fire safety. However, these were almost too easy to identify the hot and neutral wires and install. If you are confident, then you can be done in 5 minutes. For me, I took 30 minutes reading instructions and then checking 3 or 4 times before closing up, just to be sure.

speeddeacon: I installed the Lurton Caseta light switches in my home a little over a year ago and they have been nothing short t of spectacular. I’m writing the review here on the 6-ANS but my system also includes PD-10NXL, PD-5WS-DV and PD-3PCL and certainly applies to them as well.
First of all let me say that when up and running the system is flawless. Not once have I lost network connection with any of my switches! The switches look great on the wall and are of very high quality to the touch. A switch isn’t a glamorous device so to say that it functions as it supposed to isn’t particularly awe inspiring. Rest assured these switches do turn things on, such as lights, fans and lamps every single time. Dimming works well too. But these are smart devices so it’s the way they go about the work that is awesome. They work perfectly with Alexa or Siri for voice control inside your home, or from anywhere in the world via Apple HomeKit or Lurton Caseta app. Can’ remember if you turned off a light in your house? No problem, pull up either app and it gives you each switch’s status and of course you can operate the switch as well. There are other third party apps that integrate as...

Amazon Customer: Product delivered quickly and received exactly as intended. If you’re not familiar with Lutron products then please note that this smart switch requires a hub to function as a smart home. Also if this is your first none dimmer switch your buying from Lutron then keep in mind that this particular model requires a neutral to function. If you don’t know what a neutral is then most likely you’re not comfortable with electric wiring therefore call an electrician to do the job.
