Doesn't come with all the necessary piece to just connect to my existing Hoselock system. Using much smaller battery than Hoselock... Not sure how often I need to replace the battery. Hoselock can last for 6-9 months.

Purchased April 5, 2021. As of November 19, 2021, 7 months later, it is still running.
I woke up this morning and the unit was unresponsive. I feared the worst. Thankfully, I replaced the batteries and it is working again.
Based on the reviews about the unit dying after 6-18 mo, I also purchased a 4 year extended warranty for it for an extra $10. I have good success with Amazon offered warranties and it is nice having an extra layer of peace of mind.
Was easy to sync with Homekit. I have the Eve app downloaded but do not use it. They also finally updated it to where you can water longer than 10 minutes. That was a super update.
Ours is across the house from our router and a room away from our HomePod. I have no problems accessing it to turn on and off. I can be out in our garden which is 250 ft away and turn it on. Plus, with the HomePod as the bridge, I can be away from home and water my garden. All those make this, so far, a winner for me.

Llego perfectamente nuevo y sellado.

Picked up two of these to replace old style button-programmable faucet timers for the front and back yards of a smaller two-story home. My Apple TV sits right in the middle of the house and has no problem connecting with other Homekit devices. The setup is easy, straightforward HomeKit, and the App is pretty nice as HomeKit controller apps go.
However, the wireless range on these devices is AWFUL. Maybe 15 feet in open air, less than 10 feet if there's any wall in the way. To get it to work I have to walk with my phone to a window looking out at the Eve Aqua and wait for it to reconnect, then walk to the other side of the house for the other one.
The result is that it's simply not possible to use these as a HomeKit device - no accessing remotely, no programming them into scenes with HomeKit timing or conditions. All they are is a duplicate of the $20 controllers I had before that I had to stand next to and program with buttons. The Eve is the same except I have to stand right next to it and program it with my phone. Oh, yeah, and the button-programmable ones allowed me to set programs for a whole week, with on-days and off-days, while the Eve...

I think people is expecting too much from bluetooth devices. Bluetooth is intended to work on short distance, this device is great. The app is easy to use, very intuitive and has many features. I used another system with only 2 programmable schedules by day, you can program several with this one with the water consumption report as you go.
I will be looking to add more Eve devices, loved the interface and range of possibilities here.

Miles C: The media could not be loaded. I set this up to a mist line over my patio bc it can get real hot where I live. I just say Hey Siri, turn on the mist and boom we have mist. ** Slow clap ** It impresses guests for about 10 seconds. Yes its for lazy people but you'll never have to worry about forgetting to turn the water off since you can have it set to a timer or control from your phone or apple watch. The eve app also even shows you water consumption but you need to set the flow rate first to get an accurate reading. Lastly, people complain that this thing can leak. I blame this on installer error. First off, make sure the rubber gasket is seated properly, second USE PLUMBERS TAPE (not included), and lastly tighten very well. Also any limitation in Apple's native Homekit ecosystem is Apple's fault. Use the eve app for good control, and Apple Siri for the voice activated...

Summer MandaSummer Manda:
This system is quite good. I have to say my pros first:
1. I like that I can make a scheduled time and it comes on when I tell it to. Example: I set mine to come on Mon., Wed, and Fri, at 4am. It did, and was perfect, it’s like having a sprinkler system.
2. I like the button, we were outside planting and I needed to turn the water on and off quite a bit, the button makes things much easier. You can just walk over and hit it to turn the water on and off quickly. I was even able to say to my young kids, go hit the button for me, and I didn’t have to tell them what direction to turn the knob.
3. I like that I can use my phone to turn it in and off when needed. The app is convenient. (See cons)
4. I thought, oh boy, it’s battery operated, this is going to be a pain, but the battery has lasted quite a few weeks so far. To me, this is a bonus, I thought it would be a pain having to change it often, but it doesn’t seem to drain the battery, this was a pro. Does not use much battery power.
My cons:
1. I have a 2600 sq. ft. Home. If I am in the front of the house and the Eve is in the back, my phone cannot reach the...

Scott: They last about 6-12 months then the internal seals will either split open and leak through the battery case or the valve drive will snap off and the valve will stop opening - they way you find out it’s not working is when your garden starts dying. I’ve had 4 of these and all 4 are now broken.
