Marieab73: This slows the meal time chowing. My pups used to eat WAY too fast, but this really helps with the mini dachshund. She eats just about right now.

DCR: I am very impressed with this bowl. I expected something flimsy but it is one substantial bowl. I got the 1 cup version for our Puggle who gulps down his food so quickly that he often throws it back up! It is super effective in slowing him down but unfortunately, it is a very deep bowl as well. Not the best design for a short snouted dog, so I feel a bit cruel feeding him with this bowl. The compromise is I tilt it for him after a while so he doesn’t get too frustrated, haha. Over all, this is a good value for such a quality, well made bowl, and it does what it is supposed to do.

ZiMaLiCo: I have gone through a few of those slow feeder bowls and inserts and this one is my fave. The material is very sturdy (my dog would chew on the cheaper softer plastic ones. There's enough space for out dog to eat but it's not so bad that it's impossible to get the food out. I have to say that I have bigger dogs. It has helped my dog from eating so fast that he would vomit after.

Geoffroy Thiriet: Nous n'étions pas convaincus mais comme notre chat avait tendance à finir sa gamelle en un temps record (sans mâcher ni prendre le temps de respirer... quitte à en vomir) nous avons essayé cette gamelle.
C'est très concluant ! Le premier jour il boudait un peu et attendait qu'on lui mette les croquettes à côté mais il s'est très vite habitué. Quand la gamelle est pleine le chat peut les attraper sans faire d'effort mais dès qu'il y en a un peu moins il utilise sa patte pour les faire sortir et les mange donc une par une. Pour les gloutons c'est efficace.
La gamelle est épaisse et un peu lourde avec de l'anti-derapant (elle se balade quand même un peu quand le chat tape dedans).
Belle qualité. Facile à laver (à la main).
Le chat l'a adoptée et mange plus doucement. A recommander pour les chats avec un souci avec la nourriture.
