Outward Hound Slow Feeder Dog Bowl - Fun Feeder Slo Bowl Design

DaniDani: I was a little worried ordering any puzzles because my dog has a tendancy to destroy things when playing, but so far I've gotten 3 puzzles from this listing and months later of daily use all 3 are still in great shape! My dog loves these and it keeps her busy for a while. This specific one (the one with 3 layers) she's currently going at and has kept her busy for 20 minutes now. Nothing else does that!! In the morning I take the bottom 2 layers and smear a tiny amount of Greek yogurt and peanut butter, and fill some spots with treats and water, then freeze that. Then before giving it to her I sprinkle a couple more treats and some of her food on all 3 layers, between the different flavors and textures and the challenge of the spinning layers it keeps her busy. I HIGHLY recommend these and will be buying more to try!

Older and Wiser: I have two gulpers in the household, a blind older male Boston terrier, and a feisty female pug. I looked at these bowls, read the reviews, liked the price, and ordered two: teal for my boy and pink for my girl. DEFINITELY slowed down the eating! My blind male seemed to actually enjoy the challenge and licked each grove to ensure no nuggets remained. My problem-solving pug (and *that’s* two words I never thought I’d use in a sentence!) tried to gulp, couldn’t, tried to lick up kernels, became frustrated, and used her paw to flip the bowl! After nudging the bowl away with her flat face she then proceeded to inhale dinner off the feeding mat!

Enter plan B. Next meal I switched and gave the male the pink flower and gave the pug the teal grooves. This seemed to work better as the pug actually ate around the bowl in circles chasing the nuggets through the circular grooves. The blind Boston seemed to like the challenge of the flower shape even more but maintained a stoic stance over the bowl not moving in any direction to more easily lick up nuggets.

Renee: El material es plástico duro, firulais no ha intentado morderlo pero creo que le costaría trabajo, mi firulais es tamaño chico. Sí ayuda a que coma más lento y yo escogí el diseño con ciículos internos y está fácil de lavar.

TacomaDroneTacomaDrone: I have three dogs. Two picky eaters and one gulper. The gulper (a 60-lb Golden Retriever mix) is finished his dinner before the other to have barely started, then he comes at me with that accusing look that I must be feeding the other two dogs way more than him and why am I so mean? Switched to this bowl. Now he is still working at it long after the other two are finished. Makes dinnertime so much less stressful for everybody. My guy gets about a cup of kibble (maybe a little more) and about 1/2 lb of meat. This all fits in the first three circles of the bowl with only the occasional scrap falling into the outer circle. The outer circle, by the way, is the toughest to get food out of.

The channels are too deep to clean the bowl with an ordinary dish brush so I use a small sponge with a little soap and it cleans up pretty easy.

AMPURIAS hélène: Bon achat, bon rapport qualité/prix, hormis le fait que le produit est un peu léger. Sinon le système est bien pensé pour réduire le temps passé à manger. Mon chien (berger australien) avait déjà une gamelle anti-glouton (bien plus chère) et il mettait environ 1,5 minutes pour manger ses croquettes. Maintenant il met entre 4 et 5 minutes. Ce qui est déjà considérable comme évolution. Bien sûr au départ, il a mis beaucoup plus de temps mais même après, il y reste pendant un petit moment.
Achat grande gamelle ( la petite est vraiment petite) avec les formes de dômes.
Pour le prix par rapport à d'autres marques, il ne faut pas hésiter !

katarzyna gil: Perfetta! Il mio cane (taglia media) finiva la ciotola di crocchette in pochi secondi per poi rigettare tutto. La solita ciotola che si trova in commercio migliorava un po le cose ma non era sufficiente. Poi ho trovato in rete questa qui e ho risolto. Riesce a contenere la foga con la quale il mio cane ingurgita il cibo perché ha bisogno di parecchio tempo per scovare le crocchette nelle fessure. Ora mangia il giusto e ha preso peso..Prima invece ingurgitava immediatamente tutto il contenuto, lo rigettava e restava sottopeso.

DWDW: Endlich mal ein ein Slow-Feeder der von der Größe her für Katzen geeignet ist!
Schnelle Lieferung, ansprechende Verpackung und ein sehr hübscher Napf. Er ist aus sehr hartem Plastik, was perfekt ist für meine Katze, die aus lauter Gier immer in die Silikonformen reinbeißt und solche Näpfe oder Schleckmatten (obwohl mit bissfest beschrieben) schon nach einmaligem Gebrauch kaputt gebissen waren, wodurch die Katze auch kleine Silikonteile verschluckt. Das passiert bei diesem Napf nicht. Er ist robust und hält die Zähne meiner Katze gut aus, obwohl man sehr wohl Bissspuren erkennen kann (siehe Bild).
Der Nachteil ist, dass er durch das harte Plastik etwas schwerer zu reinigen ist, wie Silikonformen.
Meine Katze braucht nun für ihr Futter statt 1,5 Minuten 15-20 Minuten und ist gut beschäftigt und tut damit auch ihrer Gesundheit was Gutes.
1 Steen Abzug für die schwierige Reinigung. Würde ihn aber auf jeden Fall wieder kaufen!
