Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: they are simple to put on and easy to control. i like the option for auto and focused compression with 3 different modes.

the auto doesn’t provide the same compression as the singular modes do. also, the thigh portion seems to have the most compression while at the highest intensity setting while the other two modes don’t provide similar intensity.

Maerilo: My legs react weirdly to strenuous exercise, not so much outright hurting from overuse but more so crawling with a kind of toothachy pain just below the threshold. It makes it impossible to sleep on the nights after a long walk/run/biking session and I don't always want to have to turn to ibuprofen to manage. Enter these bad boys.

I didn't want to take off a star for accessibility because they have to be this way in order to function properly, but this does take a little practice to get used to. It's easy to get turned around when you're tired and sore, and it takes some concentration to sort out all the minutiae -- crossing cords, air pump, power cord, velcro, which foot goes in which sock, etc -- which can border on frustrating. But if you approach it methodically and pay attention to the labels, this isn't something most will need asssistance with. The heat setting is extremely effective and those with sensitive skin might want to wear leggings to avoid irritation, but it feels great, and the compression is top notch and can easily be adjusted either with the controls or simply loosening up the velcro. It's insane how comfortable they are. I've lost...

The OPThe OP: These are what our youngest describes as robot legs, they're designed to basically be a sleeve that wraps around both your foot and the rest of your leg where both heat and a massage function is applied to that whole surface depending on how you control it with a remote which is directly attached to the legs.

I suffer from plantar fasciitis which means that on some days I'm perfectly fine however on others the pain starts down at the heel and evolves up spreading through the lower part of my ankle all the way up to the bottom of my thigh. These legs being gone for just 20 minutes at a time mean that it actually gives me some relief from that pain, it's not going to cure everything but what it does is helps me relax a little bit more and takes away the sharpness of it.

Overall they do actually work, they look a bit daft on but that really doesn't matter as long as it actually helps you. The only improvement I would have liked would be to have the remote cordless in order to not have to be attached to myself when using it however it doesn't really matter and I'm just being pedantic.

J.E.: I was a bit apprehensive about buying this massager, I suffer from restless legs syndrome and something like this was recommended for me. After doing some research, I decided to go for this one.

The massager comes in a very smart box that would make it an ideal gift for anyone. It is also apparently clear upon opening that this is a top quality product that has had a great deal of thought go into both the design and manufacture.

The machine can be used on any limbs from your legs - calves, thighs and feet through to your arms - wrists etc and it is highly effective and efficient at massage and moving around excess fluid in the affected areas.

The massage is not like any other massage I have ever had and can only be described as similar to being squeezed by a blood pressure machine and is slightly strange although not unpleasant.

Other features are the 20 minute timer which has an automatic shut off and means that you cannot overuse it, plus 4 modes and 4 intensities which ensures there are enough variations to suit every person.

SteveO: Negatives: while they do function as a single muscle area compression, they do not have a program for series compression or deep compression to move blood up. They are a pain to put on and keep the Velcro straps tight and the hoses from control unit are way too short and super stiff. I wear a 12 narrow shoe so not a fat foot, but that section barely fits and frequently comes loose. If you move much and touch the air hose, they will pop out of their base. The thigh compression only massages the lower half of the thigh.

9/13/2022 UPDATE: the seller sent me the new model after my review. They have remedied many of the issues previously outlined and now have a product that is much better, including above their competitors that still use velcro straps on foot and calf (that section uses a zipper now). The upper thigh section still uses 1 wide velcro strap that needs thought for improvement. 1 - since it is separate from lower section the thigh component still has an exposed air hose making it vulnerable if you move to pop off its connection, would be better if connected with the tubing running inside for protection and making it easier to put on/off...
