Mamamac: I really wanted to like these, they are great quality and made in the USA! Size 7 was too tight, and size 8 wouldn’t stay on when I walked. They suggest buying their liners to make them half sizes. So, I need to buy the boot too big and then spend $10 more to make them possibly fit?? What if I cut the liner down to size and they still don’t fit? Then I just wasted $10. Just include the liner with them!

IvyL: I've owned several pairs of Sloggers over the years. They stand up to mud and water better than anything else I've bought, and they are comfortable enough for long walks with the dog or on muddy trails. The fun designs are a bonus.

rewiewer: I live in these, thus the need for another pair to coordinate with gardening hats and gloves 😄. They’re lightweight, comfortable and durable for around the yard and near fields. For heavier work, higher water and rougher footing I need different boots, but these are my “daily drivers” for regular yard and garden.

DeniceM: I had been hesitant to buy these dues to the price but then I received my first pair of Sloggers as hand me downs. I immediately fell in love with them. I can wear them all day in the yard with no issues and no socks needed. So I decided to break down and buy the rain/garden boots. I needed a new pair of yard boots anyway. Well. At first they were great. A little tight but they broke in nicely. I did have to cut the tags on the rim because they gave me blisters but not a big deal. BUT just a couple weeks ago I got caught in the rain and my boots filled with water. Literally hencing the name “sloggers”. We’ll despite my efforts of everything from sanitizing spray, baking soda, putting in the washing machine, setting in the sun…they have the worst lingering stinky feet, wet dog like smell! I absolutely cannot get the smell out. And NOW they are rubbing blisters on my ankles and tops of feet which they never did before. Due to all of these factors I have to say I am very disappointed. My previous Croc rain boots I have had and worn outside doing yard/farm work for more than 5 years and have drenched with the hose and in the rain and have never retained a smell. I only had to...

AslanEdits: These are hands down my favourite rain boots ever owned. They are so comfortable, easy to get on and off, and best of all these are stunningly gorgeous. I have had them less than a week, and everywhere I go, I get glowing compliments on them from complete strangers -- of all ages! But really, it's the fact that they make me smile each time that I put them on, despite an otherwise gloomy day that makes these true winners.

Re: sizing, I am normally a perfect 8.5 for my left foot and a perfect 8 for my right (....yay....). I hummed and hawed a long time trying to decide which size to order. Settled with sizing up to the 9. No regrets. Not too lose at all, and as I mentioned above, very comfortable.

If these don't wear well with time, I'll update my review. So far, absolutely no complaints. A hearty 5 stars from this gal.

Hamster Granny: I was searching on the internet for 'orthotic wellingtons', as I have a foot problem (Morton's neuromas) which makes it too painful to walk in standard wellies. These came up on a US website for orthotic footwear and seemed to have good reviews. I listened to the reviews and ordered a size larger than usual (I am normally a Uk 7, which is a US 9 so ordered a US10 which is a US8). They fit perfectly, so a full size bigger is definitely required. They are just short black wellies, but very comfortable to walk in. The heel is slightly raised, to give a good walking angle and there is a removable 'orthotic' insole inside. The insole has a slight raised heel area as well. There is good arch support. I found I still had just enough room to insert a comfort insole as well.

So I am happy with them - just got them for rainy days in summer - not really winter wellies for snow or whatever. They seem well made and are a good thickness. The only reason I dropped a star, is that they press into the back of my leg a bit, at the top, but I think that will ease and improve with wear, and it is not that bad. I have quite 'shapely' calves so that could be the reason.
