Matthew: It is good for the price and has successfully plugged three of my tires. However, I wish the spiraled rod was sharper to more easily make a good hole for the plug. It requires a lot of force to put the plug in.

SummerBreeze: I haven't used this one, but had an older one I used. Must have for a car as it is pretty easy to use while on the road if you get a flat tire. If the nail or screw is visible just turn the wheel or just roll the tire forward and do the repair. Also invest in a air pump to blow up the tire. It will save 2 hours of waiting and a higher insurance bill once they charge you indirectly for the towing truck visit.

Stacy Walker: Everyone should have this plug kit, or one similar to it, in their vehicle. I’ve used it on my own truck tires (35” Nittos) and on my friends wife’s Tahoe tires. It plugged the puncture to were it wasn’t an issue and nothing more was required. You do need to have an air pump as well. A portable, compact 12 volt unit is fine. You need to be able to air the tire up to perform the repair and then make sure it has good pressure before getting back on the road. The repair is simple to perform. My one other bit of advice is to keep a small pair of pliers with the kit. The nail or bolt may still be in the tire and can sometimes be difficult to remove.
