I've only tried to use it a few times, and I watched a few youtube videos bc instructions are pretty basic. I assumed the timer didn't work until I searched the reviews.... YOU HAVE TO PRESS DOWN ARROW, and it will count down and alarm when time is up.
As for the clicking noise everyone is complaining about, I think it's just the machine trying to maintain the selected temp and not continue to heat up.
