Missy V.: This machine is awesome and makes the most amazing cups! Getting it going for the first time is a real pain, however, because you have to hook it up to a laptop and activate it! I got on with the help people and I told them that I only used an iPad and they told me that I should try to borrow someone’s laptop or desktop so I can get it activated! How stupid is that? I asked why on earth you couldn’t just plug it in and use it and was told that they wanted to keep track of who owned it or something. that is so stupid. All it does is heat up! It works great, but why do they need to have so much control? Not cool.

MxC: I have been using Cricut products for fifteen years. I bought this last year on Black Friday. Heats up fast, heats evenly, and a timer so no guess work. Love that it covers the whole mug ( top to bottom) you do need to work in a well ventilated area. And butcher paper is a must so the images don’t transfer to the inside of the machine.

Vera L Tilley: The guess work is taken out of it! I’ve used my mug press for mugs and tumblers. The first time was perfect, the 2nd bled but I figured out why and it hasn’t happened again. I love it and hopefully I can find cheaper mugs to color!

AlexaAlexa: I just got this mug press and I’m so excited!!! So far so good. It sublimates mugs soooo well. I’ve been using the 15 oz mugs. I really like how you don’t have to set the temperature or time and how it’s already programmed. The downside is that it’s a better fit for mugs than for tumblers, so if you want a tumbler press, I would recommend a tumbler specific press:)

Karhy McLean: Tengo otras planchas que son más sencillas y tienes que ajustar y son un show manejarlas, con esta de Cricut es súper fácil pues ya viene ajustada a las medidas de las tazas y quedan sublimadas a muy buena calidad y colores. Muy fácil de usarla y súper práctica

Jessica: My Cricut Mug Press works like a charm. I didn't know that it would automatically change the time depending on the amount of pressure it needs to use so that was a pretty cool discovery. I've made about a dozen mugs so far from the Cricut blanks to the regular sublimation mugs you can get at Michael's and they all work equally well. I'm happy that I don't need to use the Cricut mugs if I don't have to. Here's why I gave it four stars instead of five: I ran into a problem that Cricut has known about for a long time. This is my second mug press! My first one I got from Michael's and it was stuck in activation mode. Upon further research I found that this problem is common and cannot be fixed. It will need to be sent back. Once it's bricked, it's bricked. This was very frustrating as I was so excited to use it. Thankfully Michael's refunded me (against store policy I hear) and I bought one here for cheaper. Thankfully this one worked but I'm disappointed that Cricut hasn't resolved this issue since the mug press' release. I've seen that some people are on their third mug press and that's a whole new nightmare. These aren't cheap. Do better, Cricut.
