Nice upgradeNice upgrade: I got these to replace the crappy oem speakers that my Hyundai sonata has, I wanted to upgrade the head unit to one with apple carplay and I thought might as well upgrade the speakers at the same time since the new stereo was too powerful for the stock speakers, even with the stock radio it was very noticeable how much better this sound, definitely worth the upgrade

B. Billy: I got these to replace some blown out JL audio 6.5 rear door speakers in my 05 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad cab truck. I actually needed 5.25, but with some spacers I got these to fit nicely. Let me tell you, the sound from these low priced speaker are AWESOME!! I'm using a Pioneer head unit, I can set the crossovers, and these speakers pack a PUNCH once I got them tuned in. The highs are crispy and clean, they have decent lows to blend with my subs. The magnets they have are beefy, much larger than most speakers at this price point, and the construction on them is premium, the magnets have a kool rubber surround on them, but make sure you measure the depth you have to work with. The cone material looks like carbon fiber, I know they are paper, but they look nice and strong, not flimsy. I am wanting to try out their 6x9 option now, so heck yea, I would recommend this brand all day. Get them, you will not be disappointed.

Ryan Adams: I replaced some Kenwood Excelon speakers in my rear door with these Skars , as one of the Kenwoods had blown. I still have Kenwoods in the front doors, all being powered by a Kenwood Excelon amp. I’m very pleased with the sound quality, the Skars were a lot cheaper yet look better made, and all I wanted was for them to perform as good as the Kenwoods. I think they’re a tad better, a little louder, and can handle bass better. I haven’t really tested them too harshly, as I’m still breaking them in. Overall I’m happy, install was easy and fit my 2009 GMC Sierra 4x4 ext cab pickup truck perfectly. No adapters required, which I had to use on the Kenwoods. Also wanted to let everyone know these Skar 6.5 inch speakers are 50 watts RMS (EACH) They label them as 100 watts RMS and 200 watts MAX, but those numbers are for a pair of speakers, not a single speaker. This makes getting an amp with enough juice to power them EASY, even a lot of head units put out 50watts RMS. My amp gives them 75 watts RMS, and they run great.

Jeremy: I installed these to replace the door speakers in my 2016 Honda Civic EX-T. The front speakers are stock tweeters in the a-pillar and then the Skar speakers both working together. All the frequencies are covered now, especially the high end. The low end going through them is handled very nicely. The whole system sounds complete now. I will be buying another set to replace the rear speakers next. I can hardly wait till the break in period is over. Well done Skar!!
