David H: I bought these to upgrade the factory speakers in my 2011 Ford Fusion w/ the Sony amplified system. The factory ones sounded OK for a factory system, but I was used to something a little more powerful. I will be bypassing the factory Sony amp eventually with my own amplifiers, but in the meantime... these speakers definitely improved the overall sound quality over stock.

Desiree Davis: I put these in my outdated 2002 F350 to revamp the sound quality. I had the original speakers and head unit from back in 2002. I ended up searching a cheap speaker to achieve a better quality sound. HOLY CRAP!! I did not expect the quality of these speakers to be this good! Paired with a 5 channel 1800 watt amp, new head unit, and a single 10” woofer. These sound absolutely incredible! Super crisp, good bass. I’d pay double for the same speakers. If your looking for a quality speaker, stop your search now and buy these.

Jesse: Sound great put in my perfect for f150 2012. Buy the easy connection wires saves time makes for much cleaner install, I didnt and regret it. The wires that comes with these speakers are so thin they snap very easy when stripping or crimping. I got much cleaner sound but f150 deck is basic and still need an upgrade.

Amazon Customer: i bought 2 pairs, 4 speakers in total. the sound quality is very good, i knew they were going to sound good but the speakers sound a lot better that i expected. i also had 4 Kenwood 6x9 in my previous explorer but these 6x8 sound a lot better and they fit perfectly in my explorer. no more stock speakers now i have excellent sound. for the price you can't go wrong. they sound loud and clear also a little bit of bass if they close tight, but if you really want bass then you have to buy a sub or a pair of subs. me personally i'm happy and satisfied and i honestly will recommend these speaker to a family member or a friend.

JBYRD: I installed these in the rear doors of my 2007 F150 SCREW. I've got these and a set of components in my truck being pushed by a KAC-M1804, 45x4, amplifier and they sound amazing! Crystal clear sounds all the way around with amplifier. Without the amp I could turn my radio up to about 30 before they would start to distort. Now I cant turn the volume up past 25 because its just too loud. I would not run these without an amp after hearing before and after. If your gonna put them in go ahead and spend a few extra bucks for an amp. You will not be sorry.

marcopaulo alberto ramos: I literally bought these as temporary replacements. They aren't as good as the Kenwood Excelons but that the difference between and $40 pair and a $300 pair haha. Still these have great sound and clarity for the price. My amps put out way too much power for these to handle but they have great lows and mids. Now listen. Don't expect 6x8's and 6x9's to always have great bass. They are not woofers. If you want bass then buy a proper woofer. You get what you pay for. But over all. $40 not bad. Good sound, I'm gonna buy a pair for my moms truck. So I like them but they will never compare to $300 and $500 pairs that I'm use to.

Drew Toner: I upgraded the factory door speakers in my 2014 F150. I did not order any adapters for the wiring harness. After pulling out the OEM speakers, I found that I could just cut the plastic connector from the original, and solder it right on to this new speaker. and then just plug them right into the existing harness!! Worked well and saved a bunch! And the sound is not comparable!! !00% improvement. My truck came with the factory sub, but I found it to be overpowering most of the time. Now, with these Kenwood 3-way speakers installed, the sound is much more balanced, and way fuller!! Rated at 81 watts, I can turn the factory unit up a bit more, and still sounds great.
