I've had some water damage done to my house, which has since been mitigated, but still made me extra vigilant about potential moisture issues that could lead to mold development. It supports two modes - daytime (LED lighning + some fan noise) and nighttime (no lighting + half the noise). It comes with drainage pipes that you can direct to sink, but I never used those, container itself is enough.

I plugged it in overnight in a spare bedroom and by the morning had the water container filled up to about 20%. Since then I moved the thing around the house and the dehumidification has been pretty reliable.

I think the LED lights are skippable (but I guess then people have no idea if the device is working, as it could be just humming quietly) and manual could benefit from better command of English (chapters include "How Do Use" and "moisture in the air above 50% can breed uncomfortable or other health problems"). If you're willing to overlook that, this dehumidifier is excellent bang for the buck.

Gilodon: When I received the box, I thought it was too small for a dehumidifier, it is tiny. This has no compressor, utilises cold chip technology. Very quiet but there is no humidity control, it is either on or off.

YF L: I've had this dehumidifier for about 3 months now, and here are some of my thoughts after using it.

The machine is compact and doesn't take up much space. I can easily carry it and place it in any room I need to use it in.

The noise level is not too high, although I typically don't use it in the bedroom while sleeping. The sleep mode of the machine also has a relatively low noise level.

The water tank isn't very large, but it has an automatic shut-off feature when it reaches the water level, so it's entirely sufficient for use. Emptying the water is also convenient, and I usually do it when the water level reaches about 4/3 of the capacity mark.

The colorful lights on the machine are a nice touch, and you can choose to turn them on or off.

The dehumidifier's capacity may not be suitable for very large spaces. If your room is over 1000 square feet, you might want to consider a larger capacity model. However, for scenarios where I only need to use it in a single bathroom or bedroom, this small capacity machine works perfectly.

Joseph Hale: I just moved to a new apartment with a basement that was seemingly always humid. I work with engineering projects and 3D printing, and a lot of the materials need to be stored somewhere that is dry and cool.

I purchased this small dehumidifier and at first thought "there is no way that this tiny little thing will dehumidify my entire basement on its own". Defeated, I was afraid that I was going to have to get another one - until I turned it on for a day.

I went down to the basement the next day and it was a drastic and very apparent change. The humidity was almost nothing, and actually the drain on the basement floor, which always had water around it, was dry! I have to empty it every couple of days, which is not tedious at all, and I use the water to water my flowers that I have on my back porch.

This is THE go to dehumidifier for small spaces and damp areas. My basement is about 700 square feet and it does exactly what I need it to do. It is relatively quiet, and has never bothered me at all while it is on.

I might get one for the upstairs too!

Kaden Yealy: As others have stated its very small and barely removes much water maybe 2 cups a day. The real reason I gave it 4 stars is because I have it hooked up to a drain and the hose outlet in is almost un-usable as designed. The hose kept popping off even after multiple fastening attempts. The main issue is the hose inlet is pointing into instead of out of the unit so the hose is under a lot of stress to pop out. I ended up cutting the tray and siliconing on a 90 elbow to solve, sort of annoying but so far still on there 2weeks.

Martin: Tengo un cuarto con un problema grave de humedad, el cuarto tiene aproximadamente 20 metros cuadrados. Con un higrómetro he tomado la temperatura de 28.5 grados Celsius y una humedad relativa de 89%. Puse a trabajar 24 horas este deshumidificador y la humedad relativa no disminuyó nada y apenas extrajo unos 750ml de agua del ambiente trabajando a máxima potencia el ventilador, osea que en ningún momento activé el modo nocturno. Creo que mejor voy a ahorrar y comprar uno de compresor o un aire acondicionado portátil con función de deshumidificador, por lo que he leído esos si funcionan.

T. Steyaert: I bought two dehumidifiers to compare. This is a comparison of this dehumidifier and https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BXSHJNPW?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details.

Both were run in about a 30x10 room. Separated enough that they wouldn't interfere with the other. Room varied from 50-65% humidity, and 72-78 degrees.

At the end of 60 hours, the Simsen removed nearly 4 cups of water. Breezome removed 2-1/3 cups of water, so Simsen won.

Simsen also has the advantage that it can be run with a drain tube, so it could be placed in a low access place with the included hose leading to a drain.

Simsen has a disadvantage, though. It's a black dehumidifier while Breezome is white. If you're using the tank, even with the light on, Simsen is HARD to see tank level. Breezome is VERY easy to see.

I do have a major unknown. I'm not certain of the power usage of both dehumidifiers. Since the Simsen did nearly twice the water of Breezome, it would be best if it used a little less than double the power of the Breezome. If I get a power monitor, I'll update the review.
