This item is of poor quality, it worked great for the first few days then began to fall apart, slow down, sputter, then just totally stopped working within a week. The diaphragm is not the issue either. Small rivets/screws broke off in the pool, small pieces of plastic broke off in the pool, the weight piece came chipped so that was an issue right out of the box. Not worth it. Do not buy it!
