JDFL: I originally bought this for dieting (for Weight Watchers), and it’s super helpful for figuring out portions.

I also discovered that there is a unit setting for milk, which has been extremely helpful for portioning my breast milk into storage bags (if anyone has used those bags, the measurements printed on the bags are wildly inaccurate!) To figure out volume of milk, hit the unit button to get to milk, put an empty bag on the scale and hit the tare button to zero it out, then put the bag of milk on the scale.

Nina: I am a baker so everything I do is measured in weight. My niece wanted to get in to baking (9yrs) an this was so easy for her to learn. She has dropped it a few times, an it still works. Small but mighty. I’ve bought 4 more as gifts.

Deven: I got this for my gf as a gift and she enjoyed using it for a while and it’s very easy to use! However one day it got a little wet from the sink water getting on it and since then it completely stopped working even though the batteries were dry. Aside from that, it’s worth it

Amazon Customer: The scale works fine, just be aware that it is made completely from plastic. The picture looks like stainless steel so it surprised me when the whole scale weighs almost nothing. I know if I ever drop it, the scale will be destroyed. I do like that there are multiple options for portions - oz, grams, lb, ml, etc. If I had a do-over, I would get a scale with the container included.

Randy: The media could not be loaded.  Scale would not zero-out and turning it on would be sporadic. I also tried holding my finger on the tare button and nothing worked. Pretty disappointing because it is a nice looking scale. (2-star)

*Updated Review: 1byonebros (the seller) sent me a new scale promptly after I shared my issue with them. Their customer service and timely response would be give a 5-star rating. The scale that was sent works and I really do enjoy it. [Updated - 5-stars]

RobandJon: So to make this review super simple I’m gonna list what I liked followed by what I didn’t like and explain why at the end.
Liked:
1) Very simple to use with clearly marked butttons.
2) Good size surface area to weigh items.
3) Display is easy to read
4) Slim and easily fits in cabinets and drawers.
What I didn’t Like
1) Didn’t care for it not having a hard cover to protect the top surface area for weighing items.
2) Did not like the cleaning process as pressure to surface weighing area can cause damage.

All in all this is a great buy and the price well you can’t beat that. Well worth it if your trying to take back you life and lose weight or be more healthy. Truth is nobody WANTS to weigh every thing you eat but if your trying to lose weight at least this product makes it easy to log and weigh food. Just make sure you have a place to store it where nothing will be put on top of the weigh area and when you clean it wipe super gentle and you will be fine and on your weigh to losing weight. 7lbs lost since i bought it last month

Valentina T.: I chose this 1 By One digital kitchen scale after reading reviews of this and several comparable products. I prefer this older-style black LED read out - it is definitely easier to read than the newer fluorescent type LED. This scale design with an elevated platform also makes reading the LED easier. It is also at the price point I want to pay, since the 5 Kg capacity is already more than I need on a regular, day-to-day basis. On the very rare occasions that I need to weigh anything heavier I can always use my bathroom scale (stand on it first, then weigh again with product in hand). I have already tried with several items and the scale weighs correct in my opinion. Tare function works and easy to use. I also like that the readout stays on so I can add to without it auto-shut off on me. Very pleased with the purchase.
